    Hello,

    Can I join please?

I was on here for a week in June but I had a miscarriage then, got my hopefully sticky BFP today and we were going to doctors tomorrow to say we had been trying for a year! :o

    4 weeks today.

Will be ringing doctors tomorrow to cancel appointment, is it worth telling them I am pregnant this early on? Or should I ring back in a another couple weeks?

  • Congratulations and welcome lilmissmup.

Is it your GP you were going to see tomorrow or a fertility specialist? If it's your GP you could go anyway and they can give you the general pregnancy advice and check your blood pressure etc and let you know how you go about arranging your booking in appointment with the midwife (unless you know all about what they would tell you already of course).

I saw my doctor at 5 weeks to tell her I was pregnant, and she gave me a flu jab there and then, which I wasn't expecting! (I wasn't forced she did ask if I wanted it!).

AFM, I'm 10+1 today - can't believe I'm a quarter of the way through already

Its my gp (new surgery never seen them before) but it was a joint appointment for me and OH.

I just dont know if its too soon as I am only 4 weeks today....they might tell me to go away!

Oh and I have my works christmas party Saturday which I can't get out of now as its paid for.....god knows how I am going to pretend to be drinking..... there is another pregnant lady at my work there sort of tempted to tell her just to see if she can help me pretend with my drinks.....

Also got to cancel my hair dye on Saturday now too.....:rotfl:

  • welcome littlemissmup :)

just as an aside I asked my midwife at 8 weeks if I could dye my hair still and she said that's fine, no danger to baby. but I waited til after 12 weeks anyway, mainly cos that's when I needed my roots doing ha.

I'm graduating from this thread as I'm 12+2 today, although I'm sure I'll still be reading! hope to see you all over there soon :)
  • So sorry Adrenalina big hugs

Welcome and congrats lilmissmupyou could go to the doctors anyway and let them know you're pregnant so they can let you know how to contact your midwife team. I went to see the doctor at 4 weeks but that's because I was bleeding like a normal AF and didn't know what was happening.

AFM I'm a bit worried because my symptoms seem to have disappeared on me. I'm stupidly wishing I could feel sick again :o
