If you don't feel like making tortillas from scratch (it's a definite upper body workout!) just buy tortillas to use. Prep everything that you want to go in them, and scramble your eggs well so that they aren't runny. Line up some tortillas on a clean counter and start putting things in.

Let me see if I can find the website that gave me the idea, it explains it much better than I do! :rotfl:

Here we go! Ignore the ingredient list, unless you want those things in your burritos. Anything goes!

There's a section called 'Putting it all together' on there that shows really well how to put them together, fold them, and wrap them. HTH! :)

OH is SO going to be making these at the weekend.....he just doesn't know it yet :D

I'll tell him in a minute after he's finished rubbing my feet :D

Gosh I do have him well trained lol

  • welcome rachelet. Do you commute from France to work in UK everyday or do you work from home alot?

Aww lovely picture mrshappy - looks the like the bean is waving or about to grab something!

Mrs T M I wish I was half as organised as you. Making breakfasts in advance is a great idea. I should do that as I never get time to eat before work, so I could just heat them in the microwave when I got there. We're allowed to eat at our desks so it wouldn't be a problem.

I've just had a lovely hot bath. OH is away working, so won't see him until tomorrow night, DS fell asleep in the car on the way back from the childminder's so I had peace and quiet - was like being at a spa. I think I made the water far too hot, but I had hot baths with DS and he's fine.
  • Aquamarine monkey - baths is something I've been thinking of... I love a soak in a hot bad and tried one at "elbow temp" as suggested in my book and that was a waste of water!
I was still swimming in the local river until just before my BFP, at c.14 degrees.... But that doesn't mean I want the shivers after a bubble-bath!

Just popping in to say good luck to chelseablue and mysecretalias, can't wait to hear your graduation story lol!

    Loving your scan mrshappy!

Not much going on here, just very very tired and get twinges in my belly when I try and do too much, so been resting and OH is cleaning a room per day within an inch of it's life :D

Going to view a bigger house today and then OH wants us to go to Manchester Xmas Markets, as long as we can pick up copious amounts of Rubicon Mango juice along the way I'll be happy! :rotfl:

    to everyone else!!!

    9+4 xx

MrsHappy I'm so so pleased to see you have a healthy little bean :j:j:j:j:j good to hear they're taking extra care of you too :)

btw re:weight, whilst there is guidance about how much to put on based on your previous weight, the NHS site about it states that there is no research to say how much is an appropriate amount to put on during pregnancy so there's no official advice.

I've put on tons and tons but that's mainly because my weight was controlled by taking metformin for my PCOS before and now I'm not taking it, plus having a little miss has meant that i've been really craving sugar which is just the worst thing ever for me lol

Good luck Mysecretalias & Chelseablue - looking forward to your updates later....
  • I'm a bit jealous of the people who are saying their OH is helping out doing the cleaning and stuff! my oh is lovely but helping out on housework is not his strong point. we've had a half painted living room for weeks I keep hoping I'll come home and it'll be done. I feel ashamed of my house at the moment cos I just don't have the energy to clean as much as I used to! gets me down a bit sometimes.

sunshine I'm off to the christmas markets today too! hopefully. me and OH have got the day off for my booking appointment at 11 so gonna head down afterwards. looking forward to Dutch mini pancakes with Nutella :D

aww bless you fireyfirenze, it took some excessive whining about pain, a couple of episodes of obsessive compulsive cleaners and a few tears but we got there lol! my OH is currently only doing sporadic agency work (looking for a full time job) so i told him he had to sort the house out since I'm working and baby cooking!

funnily enough, we are viewing that house at 11! I will think of you at your booking in. I seem to have morning diarrhoea instead of morning sickness (sorry if TMI!!) so provided that's stopped in time we shall head over there too, normally i'd make a beeline for pancakes every time but right now I'm thinking of bratwurst... sure this is going to be a boy!!! xx
  • Best of luck to chelseablue and mysecretalias today!

I can only dream of a tidy house at the moment. We starting a big project to convert our garage into a downstairs lounge and utility room about 6 weeks before we got our BFP, so my house resembles a building site at the moment. Bless OH, he has been putting all his efforts into trying to get it pretty much done for Xmas, but the rest of the house has gone to pot! Have no energy to clean, can just about cope with making dinner each night!
