Sorry that this pic is really blurry, but it would seem that I'm not the only one that likes Froot Loops!!! This is me trying to pick up the box after Sarah (the white bunny) had knocked it over and essentially climbed inside of it!0

Still can not believe my 12 week scan is Monday. It is actually seeming like it is close now. It seemed so far away but it has come quite quick - unlike up to about 8 weeks when everything took so long.
Feel odd that the baby is moving now. Not just body popping. And its odd to me because I can not feel it. I don't even remember when I felt DS move but I am sure it was just before my 20 week scan.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Congratulations catloverbex x
Glad your scan went well lara-this is so stressful, I really don't remember being so anxious when I was expecting my son, but that was 17 years ago and before the internet and dr google I suppose.
I can't believe how quickly the time is passing, I will be 9 weeks tomorrow, almost a quarter of the way there. I'm also hanging on waiting for the queasiness to subside, I have only been sick a couple of times, but am constantly queasy-I have found that sucking on something sweet like Starbursts help.0 -
Mrs tm that boots anti dandruff shampoo I mentioned is called (wait for it) ....... "Boots antI dandruff shampoo" :T
Is anyone else feeling useless? I took my son to a soft play yesterday andhad to sit down 3 times in the two hours we were there. Today we went to Gulliver s kingdom and I had to ask another mum to take my son on a ride because I couldnt go on it due to being pregnant.
I've lost another three pounds (very nearly going into a lower stone bracket) but my belly is bigger, no hiding it now. Am getting a bit nervous for the scan, I'm worried they might say that its 11 weeks which is the same length as when I was given an abortion against my wishes. Im scared of looking at the screen and seeing a baby of the same age staring back at me I'd be devastated. I think I might just not look and ask that they confirm that the baby is still alive before they call my husband and son in, it might be better if I just don't look at the screen.
This has been playing on my mind and my husband has picked up that I'm a bit low and gave me a big hug and a kiss and told me he wanted to make me feel better. I'm so grateful that after six years he is so loving0 -
Marywooyeah - hope your scan goes well and doesn't bring back too many memories x

Best of luck to anyone having scans today!
I had my booking appointment yesterday and to be honest it was a little disappointing! Was only there for 20 mins as they said there was too much to go through so they would do the rest on a second visit at home! I was fully prepared to be there for an hour so felt a little odd to be sent away after 20 mins. Have to now wait 3 weeks for them to come and do the home visit and book the scanPlus she had run out of bounty packs, surely if you have 3 early pregnancy appointments you would bring 3 packs with you. She is going to drop one around at the weekend though so that is something to look forward to.
I'm ranting but just felt like a bit of a waste of time, plus she has dated me at 6 weeks, whereas I think I am nearer to 7/8 weeks. Being impatient that I now have to wait 3 weeks for more to happen (stamps feet!)
Felling sick all the time now, touch wood I haven't actually been sick yet! Have found that as long as I never let myself get hungry it seems to help! Have also discovered that uncooked food, especially meat really makes me feel ill!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Good luck to anyone with scans/appointments today/tomorrow! X
Moonbabe - sorry to hear your appointment was underwhelming, disappointing for you! X
Hubby and I are trying to decide when/whether to tell our parents. It will be their first grandchild and my mum in particular has been desperate to be a grandma for a long time! Our reservations for not telling anyone is that it is very early days and things may go wrong. On the other hand, if things do go wrong then I am going to need my mum! Hubby reckons its nicer to let them share the good news if we are then going to want their support if we have bad news! Decisions! What has everyone else done? At the moment I think I'm leaning towards telling them at 8 weeks....
Off work today so just chilling. Watching my favourite "off work treat" of Jeremy Kyle.
Have a good day all X0
