Some people show earlier than others - sometimes people post on the 12-24 week thread pictures of their bumps and I think oh my your 20 weeks etc and I am nearly the same size sometimes. My belly is massive but wondering if its all gas as when I had my scan last weekend the Sonographer said 'oh there is a lot of gas in here' lol xx

I just hope that we aren't having twins! I've got quite a layer of pudge over it anyway, and I've lost weight (haven't felt like eating much until today, woke up really hungry at 6:30 and I am again now!). It amazes me that some people can go for 4-5 months and not show at all! Granted, I'd rather look pregnant, at least then people would go 'oh, she's pregnant' instead of 'wow, look at how fat she is!' Oh well. I've gotten to the point that I don't usually care what people think about me, unless I know them if that makes sense.

Volunteering today was awesome! Ended up having a sneezing fit and had to cross my legs to keep from weeing on myself though! :rotfl:

I was 25 weeks when I told my work colleagues with dd, and even then they didn't believe me cos I wasn't showing at all. Something tells me I can't wait that long this time without being rumbled! I also lost about half a stone with her, hoping I will be the same this time even though I'm not particularly overweight x

After our first attempt at ivf (so so lucky!!) we found out yesterday that I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins!!!

Over the moon and so excited! I have got a date for midwife appointment but it is in 3 weeks...do I need to try and get one earlier with it being twins? As it will only give them like a week to get me booked in for the 12 week scan?

I'm not very good with pics, but for those of you thinking about early scans, this is my pic at 6 weeks, half of what looks like the baby is actually the sac, but a heartbeat could be seen. I'm glad I had it.

Two more things I've noticed: first, the very tips of my nipples are turning pale, nearly white! Second: every time I get a cold chill (pretty often unfortunately), my boobs sting, tingle, and ache all at once!

Has anyone tested RhD Negative and been advised to have the anti-D injection?

I'm rhd positive, as is DH, so no need for it here. I'm type O and he's type A. I'm going to do the geeky blood type genetics thing if blood from our little one is ever needed.

If you're rhd negative and the baby is rhd positive, it can cause major problems, maybe not with the first pregnancy, but in subsequent ones, so, if it's been recommended, you should probably do it.

Eta: was hoping to hold off on the 'morning' sickness for a bit longer. I'll be six weeks this Saturday. Just had fish and half an order of chips (way less than normal) and now I'm feeling quite nauseated! :(

The whole Rhesus negative thing doesn't apply to me. Don't know much about it. Is there info online?

    Congratulations hmd1987 :)

    Lovely scan vseviour :)

Mrs_T_M-I find anything greasy/fried makes me very queasy. Also, cooking smells set me off and then I don't want to eat at all. Plain and bland, and little and often and how I'm managing it. I have been nauseous since before my BFP and it is horrible.
