Fantastic news hmd! Huge congrats.
Lovely scan pic Vseviour! Glad things are looking good.
I had a bad day yesterday :-( I just spent the whole day freaking out about another mc. Last time I had lots of muscle tightness in my back and abs and this time it felt just the same. It made all the sad emotions come back and then I got stuck in a worry loop. I'm scared that worrying will cause something bad to happen so I worry more. Not sure how to manage these feelings xx:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

By my reckoning I am still early doors just 4wks today
We already have an 18 month old son
Lara could you talk to your gp or get an early midwife appt to discuss your concerns.

Lara - I was/am exactly the same. Until I see a scan I wont quite believe it. No suggestions really - but some ladies on this thread really help me
Congrats Glimmer & hmd1987
Only working a half day today and off tomorrowI spend most of my time day dreaming about telling my manager at the moment anyway! I don't intend telling for quite a while....Im thinking aprox 15 weeks if I can hold out - I like the element of surprise and as my scan is at just under 11 weeks I wont be telling then. x

I feel the same! spent most of last night worrying about work and had an awful nights sleep. just feel like crying. gonna discuss it with my manager today hopefully without crying. one of my friends was saying I should be resting and not doing too much in the first 12 weeks yet next week I'm spending all week with a child that's really heavy to pick up and hard work...I don't know if I should just be carrying on as normal or what. so confusing and worrying.0

Good luck to jen and sexki11en for your scans today, hope they go well and you get some lovely pics
Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning, I had a good night's sleep again after a couple of rubbish ones so I'm feeling human again. I've always been a mega coffee fiend so having to ration myself to one normal coffee a day then decaf for the rest of the day is torture, but it always help when I get a decent few hours sleep!0 -
please add yourself, due date and 12 week scan date:

vseviour - congrats on your scan. it's amazing how much they change at that stage. I had my early scan at 8+6 and at that point there was a clear head, body, little limb buds etc.
hmd1987 - congrats and welcome - twins = WOW! My DH would be most jealous, as he was convinced that was what we were having until early scan showed just one bean.
samtoby - are you feeling any better yet?
lara44 - sorry you are having such a bad time with worry. i have good days and bad days and i've never even had a MC, so can imagine it is a very stressful time for you
Hugs to everyone else who needs them.
I finally got my scan date through at it's 2 weeks tomorrow when i'll be exactly 12 weeks. Unfortunately it's the same day we're moving house(!!!) but I'm going to have to fit it in, as do not want to rearrange for later.
Feeling ok at the moment other than a bit tired.
Fireyfirenze - I'm also considering telling work as I'm really not on top of my game at the moment and could do with a bit of slack.
GOOD LUCK jen_1985_04 and sexki11en for your scans today x.0 -
glimmerofhope - missed you off my post - sorry! welcome too, you must be so excited x.0

I'm 12 weeks exactly as well for my scan tomorrow, going on my LMP dates anyway. So I can't wait to find out what the scan dates me as0 -
Good morning ladies,
Good luck Jen_1985_04 and Sexki11en with your scans today.
Fireyfirenze - I would say that if it feels like too much and you have a way of not picking the child up don't. I'm assuming this is in relation to you job. Is there a way you could swap with someone else? Also if your energy levels are anything like mine then there will only be so much lifting you will be able to do without getting yourself totally tired out. You may find that you can't completely carry on like normal.
Terrible nights sleep for me last night due to DH's snoring. Although if I'm being honest I'm not sure whether it's his snoring that has gotten worse or whether I'm struggling to sleep and becoming less tolerant with it. Either way I'm thinking I'm going to need to find a quiet spot somewhere to take a little nap :rotfl:0
