Mrs_T_M - poor you, every hour! Mine was quite bad but not that bad. All worth it though! Just have to buy a commode:rotfl:fireyfirenze wrote: »once an hour in the night mrs t_m? goodness me! that must be awful.sunshine81 wrote: »Really thinking of you Mrs_T_M with your night weeing, I think I'm the opposite, I'm not drinking enough! OH keeps bringing glasses of water and looking at me intently lol
I only drink when I'm thirsty, but, unfortunately, lately it's been right before bed! I'll end up drinking 3-4 pints of water around 8-10 pm, then I'm typically in bed by 10:15 if not earlier. DH let me sleep this morning until about 10:15 am, and if I counted right, I only went 9 times (counting my wake up *must pee now!*), so hopefully it's slowing down! This is why I take naps. :rotfl:0 -
Had my private scan today. I was so so so nervous but I need not have been. Bean was measuring on dates and practically body popping, hands and legs going. My partner was so emotional it was really moving. I was just trying to keep the vomit down, especially as the Sonographer was pressing so hard on my belly!
Hope you all have had a lovely Saturday despite this manky weather.

relurksTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
Ah that's lovely SamToby :T
Had a 'shattered' day yesterday - found it really hard to motivate myself to do anything. As a result I let my 2 children make a mess - and today I have to face the realisation of tidying. In the end went to bed early last night and watched x factor in bed.
Mrs T_M - I have had phases of getting up 4-5 times a night to visit the toilet.....Seems to be back down to one now (unless I get up with one of the children in which case I go 'just in case'!)0 -
Congrats Samtoby. I want to go for a reassurance scan but DH just doesn't want to get one
Just got to control the worry instead.
I've had the most unproductive weekend so far. I seemed to sleep most of yesterday. It still didn't stop me from being in bed at 9. I think had I not had all of that sleep I would have been in bed for my usual pregnancy time of 8!
Bland and boring is the way forward for my meals atm. Which unfortunately mean carbs and crisps. Although I am trying to force down fruit when I get hungry between meals and veg with each meal.
Todays plan is to go into town to buy a new swimsuit as we go on holiday to Centre Parcs in 2 weeks (I no longer feel confident enough wearing a bikini) and some tops that are a little bit baggier. I dont know whether to buy a couple of maternity tops or just something a little bit baggier. I'm finding that as a lot of my tops are quite fitted they are just not very flattering atm. Anyone else finding this? Did you buy a normal top of maternity top? I just dont want to tempt fate at this point.

Good morning everyone!
Haven't been on for the last couple of days - I've literally felt too tired to do anything! I can just about muster enough energy to eat dinner after work then I am straight in bed! I've been asleep by 7:30pm most nights! Did gather enough energy to leave the house yesterday and went with my best friend and her husband and their 6 month old daughter (my god daughter) to kiddicare and my boyfriend and I looked at prams to start getting a bit of an idea about everything! Was quite exciting but very confusing!!
Then went to superdrug to get my bounty mum-to-be pack. I had my first midwife appointment on Friday (was in there almost 3 hours!) and they gave me my medical notes and my pack which had a voucher in there for the mum to be pack. Have to say find it quite good!! There's some sort of persil towel in there which OH isn't letting me open so I can't tell if it's one of those cuddle dry towels but I am hoping it is!
Feeling very overwhelmed (in a good way) at the moment. So much to take in! Very excited! Just want to get to my 5th November scan really so I can relax a bit
8 weeks + 1 day todayOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T
Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T0 -
For some reason I'm wide awake and nearly bouncing with energy this morning! Going to finish eating breakfast, then use the energy to get as much done as I can before I need to stop and rest.
Hope that everyone has a great day!0 -
Aww how wonderful SamToby! I'm still tempted, but will see what happens. I wish I was just a couple of weeks further along!
This weekend, I have done, and plan on doing, nothing! Keep getting the odd wave of nausea and am still getting period like pains, so I've got my feet up catching up on stuff on sky planner and sewing while OH does everything lol! Still very preoccupied with something going wrong but trying to relax.... I haven't got round to changing doctors since moving a few months back, but am going into the new doctors on Wednesday to tell them I am pg etc so hopefully they can reassure me a bit!
5 weeks + 6 days today x0
