samtoby - leggings are the way forward, Im living in them....so glad I can get away with them for work with boots and a smartish long line top. Have told one friend who I work with and she assures me its not noticable - but I feel so fat! Ate a bar of chocolate this afternoon (something I never do....)0
-
samtoby - 1985 was the best year to be born hehehe! And yes, totally weird and realistic dreams - like the other night a hermes courier man threw up on me
gross!
sophiasmum - I'm not a chocolate fan either... until recently! Chocolate M&Ms go down a treat0 -
That made me laugh so much. I totally know what you mean. Not long until your scan Jen_1985_04 (think we are born in the same year lol)
Anyone else having some seriously bizarre dreams? Last time I had nightmares about odd things but this time they are just bizarre!
Count me in as another 1985 baby (barely)!
I never dreamed before the GP put me on antidepressants (had night terrors until I was 5, and never had a REM sleep cycle either until the meds). I still wake up during the night a lot (more now with the baby wee needs), but I can actually dream now! I haven't had any more vivid dreams than what I have on just the meds, but it usually involves DH and myself either running away from someone, us surviving in a post-apocalyptic world, or us flying on either dragons or giant birds. Usually it's a combination of all three! Can you tell I'm a fan of science fiction?
I keep craving chips. Nice salty and peppery baked chips. And ice cream. I normally like chocolate ice cream (thus the super chocolate brownie ice cream in the freezer), but now I want plain vanilla. If I ever eat and enjoy a pickle during this pregnancy, then I'll start believing in the power of food cravings. Can't stand the things!0 -
Teamlowe - thankyou I am not planning to tell them until the 25 weeks and hope to lose more weighT to hide it until then at least.
Claire - If I need to see the gp or the dentist I go in the evenings to the drop in service or book an evening appt, the dentist I would visit on a saturday.
Cant remember who suggested saying I was hoing to a meeting but thatnwould not be possible: I have to account for my whereabouts at all times and produce attendance notes detailing whst I've been doing and for which client sd o it would not be possible to fake it.
Again cant remember who said about hospital birth but im planning to have this one at home this time, I had a very traumatic experience when I was 19 and cant stand being anywhere near a hospital now, when I had my son I was counting down the time until I could leave!
Thankyou for the link to the private obsterician I will have a look at that x0 -
Good evening ladies!!!
So I am really happy and this morning went great!!!! I was literally hyperventilating in the waiting room I was so nervous but when we went in the nurse was lovely. Couldn't find anything on the ultrasound scan so naturally I started panicking!! She made me go out, pee, and come back in and she did an internal one and little jellybean (as my boyfriend now calls it) came up straight away!!!!
We even got to see the heart beating it looked like a little light pulsing!! So relieved everything is great and as it should be. Baby is measuring 12mm so they've estimated me at 7 weeks + 3 days!! My due date is 31st may 2014!
We've got an appointment to go back on the 5th November for the next scan and blood tests and they also said at my midwife appointment on Friday they will do blood tests. Feeling so much more relaxed now that I've seen my little jellybean on the screen and seen its heart beating! My boyfriend is on cloud nine and I am finally not constantly panicking anymore. Went out for dinner with my boyfriends parents to celebrate!
Phew....big sigh of relief! Hope everyone else has had a good a day as me!!xxxOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

even though I'm only 4 weeks this week iv been queasy a few days and you know when sick comes up but you don't actually be sick?! is that too much information?! haha.
