Hi,
I got my BFP yesterday. So shocked as first month of actively trying since in June 13 I sadly had a missed miscarriage for a baby that would have been due Nov 13. I think EDD would be 21 June 14.
Very excited. But going to try to not to tell real world till as late as we can so just me and partner. Our daughter is 4 and would love a sibling but we do not want to tell her as she was aware and sad when we had the loss in June.
Also since my loss I have been going to slimming world and lost 2.5 stone but this week have been totally off plan and hungry all the time, which made me test as I felt so different. I have a lot of weight to loose still but not sure about keeping going?
I am based in Kent, where is everyone else?
Best Wishes, H x0 -

According to all of the charts and doctors, I'm 'morbidly' obese, but anything over 161 pounds on my 159cm frame would be 'obese,' so what do they know. The phrase came from someone on the TTC thread when I was getting really down about my weight and why it wasn't going down, no matter what I did. She said "You are more than your BMI, you are much better than that crappy tool!" and I tweaked it a bit and use it as my signature to remind myself of that fact every day. It's actually made me a lot happier, and it obviously hasn't stopped me from getting a bfp!0 -
Hi hwoolgar, massive congrats on your bfp. I hope your bean is a lovely sticky one.

I really agree with your signature too! Even after my 2.5 stone off I am classed as obese but my aim is to be healthy and happy.
Definitely have the pregnancy tiredness had such a lazy day today, watching Disney films and a few jigsaws and phonics cards. Hoping some motivation will kick in but currently just cooking dinner requires more sofa time! H x0 -
I understand what you mean about tired! I've been taking naps nearly every day, plus getting in bed around 8 most nights this past week. Other than walking 1 mile round trip with DH (for toilet roll no less!), I've camped out on the sofa doing surveys and cross stitch. DH cooks on Saturdays (pizza night), so thankfully I didn't have to do that today. I'll probably head to bed in just a few minutes. I'm already yawning so big I think my head may split!0

Hi all hope everyone is well!!
Feels like ages since I've been on here but it's only been a few days. Lots has happened. I was off work the whole of last week, my morning sickness became so bad my boyfriend insisted on taking me to the doctors, who gave me anti sickness pills and strict instructions to stay in bed. Am feeling a lot better now, not thrown up today or yesterday but still very unsettled.
I also got my letter finally from the hospital for our appointment with the songrapher (we don't actually know how far gone I am so they did an urgent referral Tuesday before last) and my appointment is this coming Tuesday. Absolutely terrified that something will be wrongI am a natural worrier and everyone keeps telling me not to worry but I can't help it!!
My letter basically says you will see a sonographer or a member of their team. Does this mean they will do a scan and tell me how far gone I am? My doctor reckons I could be somewhere around 7-10 weeks.
Also got a voicemail from the midwife as well about a first appointment on Friday. Gosh it's all happening! Still not really sunk in to be honest. Boyfriend is running around on cloud nine but all I can think about is what if anything goes wrong. I guess I just don't want to get all excited just in case something bad happensfeeling very lost at the moment!
Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T
Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T0 -
I'm definitely already feeling the emotional side of hormones today. Was extremely happy, then I tasted of the nearly 8 litres of pasta sauce I made today. Turns out that the bottom layer burned onto the bottom of the pot and has made the entire batch taste like smoke.0
