Let it all sink in then ring the Dr - not much happens for the first few weeks then you will probably get referred to the Midwife.

I have been reading and keeping up, I'm just rubbish at posting, plus the nausea and tiredness have been getting on top of me this week. Had a wee cuddle with my 7 week old nephew today, it was lovely. My 16 year old was down on the floor playing with his wee cousin who is 2 and he was just so lovely with her, he will be a great big brother-he has also come over very protective of me, won't let me do anything for myself. I am very touched by it all as he is a typical stroppy teenager most of the time.

It's lovely to see all the good stories about scans, we have ours a week on Monday and I'm quite anxious about it. I really need to relax though. I'm looking forward to getting a proper date as I forgot to ask how an IVF pregnancy is dated, is it LMP, collection/fertilisation or transfer? I have no idea and different sites say different things, we will know soon enough, but it will be around the 4th of June, am so excited about a summer baby as all our birthdays are winter.

Happy Friday!!!

I told my boss yesterday, couldn't leave it much longer as i have a lil bump already?!? only 10+2. I am drinking loads of waters so its prob just bloating from that!

All my sickness has gone which is actually worrying me and i brushed my teeth fine this morning!! Hope everything is ok in there...

Today I'm feeling really tired, even though I have just woken up! Tonight my DH business is up for a new business award, which includes a three course dinner and then an awards ceremony where they announce the winners that lasts well into the night. Hmmmm a nap might be needed before it starts.

In other news I seem to be getting slightly excited about Christmas. It started when I was trying to think about things for buy or make people as gifts. Along with this came the realisation that this will be the last Christmas where we will just be husband and wife. It makes it seem much more special.

I am feeling siiiiccccckkkkk. Going over to my best friends for coffee or shall I say water for me!

We have moved our scan to next Saturday so just over a week to go.

Back to work Monday so have to get some sleep over the weekend.

Perfectly fine actually. Had a little more energy than usual, so I've done one load of laundry and washed up most of the dishes. I went ahead and had a shower because the GP has already booked me an appointment for 12:30 today! :eek:

Do I need to take anything, are there any specific questions I should ask, etc, etc? :huh:

The past three days I've been using the loo enough for the entire country (especially after the decaff coffee yesterday ), and I've been in bed by 8, asleep by 9 this whole week. That is completely unheard of for me. I also have been taking naps, although I didn't take one yesterday. Kinda wish I had, but I was too excited to sleep! I even woke up 3 minutes before the alarm was supposed to go off this morning instead of wanting to hit the snooze button for an extra half hour of sleep.

The bunnies have decided that they want to stay outdoors in the garden this morning, even though they are getting rained on. Silly bunnies. Having a little one (and new stuff to smell) is really going to throw them for a loop!

I think DH has entered into the shock stage, poor thing. I know he's excited, but this is a huge change for him. This will be the first grandchild on both sides as well.

Im taking a pregnancy vitamin - one thing the Midwife did say at my booking in was that it was very important to take Vit D (as studies are showing it reduces risk of MC I think...) My vitamin has got it in it - though she gave me a combined vitamin for free that had folic acid and Vit D & C in it called Healthy Start. I know you like to save money (!) so maybe see your DR and ask for it? We get free prescriptions in Wales, but you get them free when you are pregnany anyway.
Anyway - my scan date came through - 31st Oct! Jumping ahead of you Sam_Toby! I think Im only going to be 11 weeks max, but its because of the date of my LMP 14th Aug. I don't care - Im going anyway Sorry you feeling ill again x

I'm in hiding at the mo, doesn't seem real yet, even though we had a 6 week scan on Monday. Just wanted to say to Mrs Happy, I'm due 1st June, my egg collection was 7th Sept and ET 10th Sept, so maybe those dates will help you work out due date? x
