Just dropping in from the big thread :)

chelseablue I'm on my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't have any symptoms at all with either. I kept questioning myself as well, the only time I knew for certain was at the 10 and 20 week scans. The 10 weeks inbetween were nerve wracking!! It's only when I started getting a belly that I relaxed so don't worry :)

Posted the list for people to update if need be. :)

I have completed my week of hell driving I have driven over 700 miles in four days. Bristol, Newbury and Cambridge. I am so greatful I am having a day off.

Dr's on Monday - when I found out I was pg the Dr said to leave it until now so he can refer me for a scan as I need to be six weeks ish otherwise they won't see much! So I am hoping to have an early scan over the next few weeks. I am panicing but I am trying to remain positive it is just hard. My OH has said he will pay for a scan at 9 - 10 weeks if that will make me more at ease which I thought was very kind of him. He understands why I am so worried but positivity sometimes in the key when you are concerned.

Nice to see so many BFP's it makes me smile. Congratulations girls.

I haven't really got any symtoms at all yet apart from back ache a bit and I nearly gag when I brush my teeth, but I don't have the metalic taste in my mouth that I had before or feel sick, but it is still early and there is always a chance it can turn up!

    Think I am 5+5

  • Congratulations to the new BFPs! It's all so exciting.

Back pain is still ongoing but have now transferred to home study for my AAT, which should make matters much easier. It also means I can, hopefully, make sure I finish it earlier before the baby comes along.

Also been swimming this morning. Decided that I had to do something. I feel so bloated and my jeans are feeling tighter. I think I'm eating too much bread...I just can't seem to stop :p Won't be eating a lot of bread today though...we have run out!!! :P

  • Morning - well Im constantly thirsty - remember this from last time. In fact it was this symptom that made me test 2 days ago. Got a large glass of squash on the go....

Feeling fat (bloated from all the fluids Im taking onboard!) Just seen my mum and she was talking to me about diets - sure she was hinting! She has no idea...

SamToby - did the Dr tell you you could have an early scan? I was told that I could maybe have a reassurance scan... (Not booking in with midwife for a while - being supersticious... but will have to get the ball rolling with that in a couple of weeks time ...)

Sophiasmum - The Dr was a bit patchy with what he said about a reassurance scan - he said he may refer me to have a scan to date the pregnancy and see all is ok. The problem is that a scan won't do much for me except for the moment I am there because I had a scan last time days before the baby died. So if they could scan me every day that would be lovely!

I am drinking a lot. Only drinking water and peeing constantly.

I have just done another test and I have gone from 2-3 weeks to 3 + so I think that shoes my HCG is increasing....... has anyone else done that! (Or am I the only mad one!)

    :)

  • The only reason I don't do it - is Im too tight to spend that much on those tests! Got a BFP on 2 cheapies and that's how its staying (I think! Ask me in 2 weeks..).....Glad your HCG is increasing though x

I got to 9 weeks last time - though prob that was just when I realised iykwim. Think I will have a reassurance scan (even if I pay) - have had 2 successful pregnancies so want to think positive and not scare the lovely ladies on this thread :)
