  • I'm feeling really sick here as well. Went to see Lion King last night (which was amazing) and on the way back from Birmingham (we live in Nottingham) there were so many road closures that it took us double the amount of time to get back. By the time we finally got to Nottingham I was so sick. Nearly rang over my husband to get to the bathroom before it was too late...bleugh!!

I need to get myself together today though because I've got an old carpet to take to the recycle centre and some bits and bobs to buy from the supermarket. I just hope I can get to the point where I can tear myself away from bathroom and sofa :rotfl:.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday xxx

I imagine you are lucky or you are not. Some people seem to get it once pregnancy and then not the next so they think it depends on the sex of the baby but then I have heard people have two boys for example being sick as a dog with one and being fine with the other.

I have not actually been sick yet, but I have been seriously close. I am thinking I probably will actually be sick pretty soon there is only so much I can stop.

I feel sick this morning but I am just going to have some toast to try and fill my tummy - it seemed to start last night when I was hungry.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow Eiteews - we are nearly at the 23rd - I am off to the Dr's tomorrow to see what they want to do!

    Think I am 6+0 weeks today :)

Wonder if its genetic, as to whether you suffer with sickness or not? Why do some women get it and others not? (Wanders off to google! )x

My mum reckoned she had zero sickness with my brother but was really badly sick with me - couldn't even go to supermarket because smells set her off. Even the midwife told me she thought there was a boy/girl connection. I'm sure it can't be that simple though as samtoby says it could just be coincidence.

Scary! I've got all my forms sorted... Problem with being paranoid and not bothering to fill them in is I had to do them all today. I think tomorrow morning might feel even longer than normal (Monday mornings are particularly hectic in our office). So nervous!

Good luck at the doctors, let us know how you get on :)
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
  • Vickyvics I thought you were from notts when you aid you were watching bill bailey the other day :)

Just looked on the nhs website and it even says on there that sickness can be related to having a girl! Im not actually being sick just feel it, desperately hoping for a boy!

Eiteews - today is the day!:j

Really nervous about the Dr's sure it will be a total anti-climax!

Felt sick as soon as I got up.......think this is the flavour of the next few weeks or months! I don't mind, just hopeful its a sign that all is ok.

    :)
