    Thanks :)

I'm amazed - slept better this morning than I have in weeks. Other than half an hour at silly o'clock I made my alarm. Problem is I'm used to have more time in the morning so now I'm rushing. Less time to stop and think is probably a good thing!

Hope the docs is worthwhile samtoby :)

We have a very boy heavy recent baby history in my extended family (2 girls, 6 boys in past 10 years) it would be good to redress the balance a little... Not that I mind either way!
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
  • Samtoby My last period started on the 11th August, which makes me 6+1 I think. When was yours? Maybe we are EDD twins?:p Hope your drs appointment goes well today.

Sophiasmum I must say I wish I wasn't feeling sick. It's starting to get right in my way. Fed up of feeling rubbish every time I do something.

Marywooyeah Are you from Notts as well?

    Eiteews Good luck for today!!

My mum had two girls and with me she as sick as a dog and with my sister she didn't feel a thing

For me I feel really sick and ill but as of yet no sickness (apart from when combined with travel sickness). I have started to heave though which is hurting my tummy a little bit. I don't know whether I want to graduate to actually being sick or just stay at heaving. Not sure which one would make me feel better.

Hope everyone has a happy Monday xxx

Hello everyone, hope you all had lovely weekends. We did our first car boot sale to start clearing the house for our impending move.

I'm still a bit concerned that I have absolutely no symptoms at all. I've read articles saying I am "lucky" and I'm sure if the baby is fine, I will feel that, but at the moment I can't help panicking that something is really wrong - I'd give anything to have some morning sickness!!!! Stupid I know and isn't going to help. This wait for a checkup/scan is worse than the 2WW even! Still heard nothing from my doctor/midwife either so don't really have a date to focus on.

Eiteews and samtoby good luck today.

vickyvics and marywoohyeah - I'm in Notts!

Becs try not to worry, it's completely normal to not feel sick yet - nausea is only once there's enough hormones which is about 6-7 weeks.
I was the same, really worried about lack of symptoms and then from about 6.5 weeks until 12 weeksish i felt hungover every day and went off quite a lot of my favourite foods.
*touch wood* I haven't thrown up once this pregnancy and i'm 21+1 today.

  • Thanks TeamLowe - that's reassuring too. It's the strangest thing because what (to me) is the biggest and most amazing thing in the world is happening inside me, and yet there's no signs of this on the outside and I can't tell anyone yet! Totally bizarre x

    I agree don't worry becs.

It's more if you loose symptoms there is cause to worry.

If you don't get them then there's nothing to loose.

    I started throwing up at 5+5 & I'm now 13+ 3 & I wouldn't wish it on anyone! I've been living like a hermit for months!

And TL is right, 6 weeks is when it's likely to start - so you still have time ;)

Bless you - sounds horrific - I will definitely stop wishing for sickness then! Hope it eases off soon - isn't the second trimester meant to be when you are a glowing picture of health?!? x
