Just pitching in from the () big thread(!) :
Daisyegg I went to spain a couple of weeks ago at 22 wks. I'm sure I would've been fine in my first trimester, though I definitely still made sure I had chick bags with me just in caseMy flight was 3 hrs and I'm not sure I'd've wanted much longer than that - although it's also fair to state that this is probably influenced by my other conditions too, making me uncomfortable. Flying made my legs swell a little too, but I think that might more likely in the 2nd trimester. We went for a beach holiday and that was definitely the right choice for us.
All that said, I would definitely book your holiday regardless of TTC. If you let it, ttc can rule your life and rob you of the experiences you could've been having that would've kept you sane through ttc! Good holiday insurance is a must, and just give consideration to the location etc before you book. & Have a great time!
Mancbird, (I recognise your name too, you might've been on ttc thread for your first when I first started?) - just to say they now have a water birthing pool on my delivery suite as well as the midwife led suite, so it might not mean that option's out yet...?
*relurk 24+1*"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Thank you
Im still worried that I have no pregnancy signs whatsoever
If nothing a changes in a couple of weeks I might book a private scan for 8 weeks (Im 5 weeks on Saturday)0 -
Scan was amazing! Confirmed dates finally, I'm 12+1, due 2/4/14
over the moon!
Chelsea I had my first midwife appointment today before the scan, but they thought I was only 9 weeks. I think 8-10 seems normal.0 -

Thank you! I know, can't quite believe it's all happened so quickly! Just two months ago I was daydreaming at work looking at holidays for our first anniversary! Guess we'll be a bit occupied now!0

Daisie egg - I can't lie most people I know take after their mums.. But don't panic if her second pregnancy was fine!0
