Excellent advice on the takeaways, thanks!! I'm craving salty food which I think explains my hunger for a Chinese!

Sickness and bloating has subsided a fair bit which is nice but also making me worry :( I'm 7+5 and have felt severely queasy (but without actually being sick) for about a week and a half.

    Welcome and congrats ncsmummy :)

My daughter is soon to be 10! Think this will be a big shock for her! It will be my OH's first too.

    Congratulations :j

Well I've been to the docs and my blood pressure is a little bit low also he said me walking to the school then standing for a period of time could have made me feel faint. I'm gonna stay off work tonight just try to rest and take it easy ( easier said than done ) it worries me because I work alone when I'm at work I worry if I was to faint no one would be there to help me :(

Anyway hope everyone is having a nice day xx

Bella - if you lone work, it might be worth telling your work and getting them to do a risk assessment. Contact ACAS to check your rights but it might be safer for you

Thanks sparkles I was thinking the same Im definitely staying off tonight, I'm thinking if I'm feeling ok ill go back tomorrow, but I will tell them I'm not happy about working alone, the thing is I'm changing shifts at the end of the month and instead of doing evenings I'm going to be doing weekends which will mean I am working in a busier area with more people which I will feel a lot better about.

    Xx

Has anyone signed up to any of the baby clubs yet? Boots, Tesco, Bounty, etc?

I got a couple of leaflets to fill in and take in-store for some free packs (in the big Pregnancy pack you get from the doc/mw) but have not done it yet or joined any of the clubs cos I'm too nervous of jinxing it!

Does anyone know if the benefits of these things are more for those beyond 12 weeks or am I missing out?

E.g. I know with Boots you get more points to the £ which is making me want to join sooner rather than later (v MSE!!)

    Hi ladies :)
Can I join please? I'm 7 and a bit wks, due 24th Oct (I think!) First midwife appt is 22nd March. Does anyone else think we find out so early and then it's such an age to wait for any appointments/scans? I'm getting impatient!
Have had pretty bad sickness for a couple of weeks but the last 2 days have been okay, fingers crossed it stays away!
