Hi ladies!
Been really busy recently and nothing to update on really
Great news about recent scans.
Will catch up later properly x0 -
Hey everyone.
On the subject of drinking water, I find I can drink it as long as its not chilled. Thought I'd mention it. I drink about 1.5 litres a day I think. Not overly excessive.
I've purposely slowed down my weight loss. I was calorie counting using the myfitnesspal app, but you're not allowed to cut calories during pregnancy. I've lost 1.5lbs the last 2 weeks so this seems ok. I'm counting my weight as of Monday at my booking in appointment as my pregnancy weight. I'm 3.5 stone lighter than the last booking in so very pleased with that. I'm still mentally struggling with not trying to lose weight now as I was so motivated. My aim to is try to stay around where I am now and get right back into after the birth. I'm so determined that I will reach my target weight this time. No excuses, no giving up.......TTC #3..........0 -
Just back from holiday, looks like I missed a few good scans, congrats ladies
Got home to find the letter from the hospital. They've changed my scan date and its now the 19th September, as is my booking in appointment. I'm worried its too early though, as I think I'll only be around 10 weeks but have no idea...! Does anyone know what happens if you're less than 11 weeks (which I understand is when you can have the nuchal measurements done), do they just book another appointment a couple of weeks later? Also a bit worried about all the time off work so may have to consider telling my boss when I go back.0 -
Yes laura you'll get sent back, if its a pain for you maybe call them? On other hand chance to see the baby0

I'm definitely going to go-was looking at getting a private scan around then anyway so it works out well! Think if that first scan is ok I'll tell my boss so he'll have to be ok about me having time off for a second scan if needed. Like you say, it's an extra excuse to (hopefully!) see the baby!0

Well, it's my official test day and i'm still here! Nice dark lines on the tests now and the CB Digi moved from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks so I'm over the moon. I cried with relief when I saw that.
I have my first scan booked for 17 Sept when I'll be 6w6d. I'm so excited to see the little heartbeat!
I called my GP but they won't give me a booking appointment until i'm 8w so i'll be booking in around my birthday! (god willing)
Hope everyone else is keeping well.

Hi everyone, wanted to join for some sort of moral support. 4 weeks 6 days today. Have booked dr appt for week Monday but will go tomorrow as well or instead as having continued d/c light but noticeable and cramping at times, very thirsty and eating a lot. Had blood test several months ago which showed low progesterone which was indicator I prob hadn't ov that month howeve I did research and know it can also be linked to miscarriage. Keep swapping in my head from feeling confident to scared. Family all have had healthy pregnancies but doesn't stop me from worrying. Trying to keep super positive but its tough especially when not telling people, husband and mum know but don't want to worry them too much either so don't share all symptoms. This is tough and only think its gonna get tougher!Mortgage = £270,000
Grateful ❤️0 -
Been to the GP who was really good asked me where I'm having the baby!!!
Was very clinical about miscarriage and just said if it isn't going to work then a miscarriage will happen and better at this early stage than at a much later stage.
He said lifting won't affect anything but if don't want to lift then have the perfect excuse!
Good luck everybody!:jMortgage = £270,000

I have pretty much the same symptoms as you especially the hunger, I haven't been sick at all but I do feel sick if I am hungry. How far along are you ??
I told my line manager at work and my two close friends, will tell the rest of the team when I have had my scan. Told line manager as I work in a very busy office and do a lot of work on the phones, we're really only supposed to take breaks ( ie to eat) at the designated times but I am having to eat when my tummy tells me ( which is often!) so sometimes I am due to be on the phones at these times... telling her made it a lot easier and saves me getting any hassle for not sticking to my daily schedule
You mention pain when sneezing, before I knew I was pregnant, I had missed period but they weren't THAT regular so was unsure and hadn't done test, I sneezed and got a pain, googled it and all the answers were saying PREGNANT ...
I'm 10+2 today
Got myself muddled, my scan is 2 weeks this Wednesday - a whole extra week to wait
Weighed myself on Saturday and I'm 7lbs heavier than when I found out I was pregnant but I think some of that is definitely due to the bloating and constipation I'm experiencing (sorry if TMI!) about 3lbs of that though is holiday weight which I am not intending to try too hard to shift now!
Now in to my 3rd week 'off' my usual gym routine so plan is to start back this week, just trying to squeeze in a swim once a week and then in a couple of week I'll be back at rugby (ref-ing/assisting not playing!)for Wednesday night sessions which are active but very late nights! Feeling sluggish and I think the lack of semi-structured exercise is why!
Really struggling with tiredness too - the bloating etc won't help that I know but really hating just always feeling tired
Getting very excited to think that sooner or later we will need to think about doing up the spare room as the nursery and picking up lots of lovely baby bits and pieces (I say lots...realistically we're more likely to just buy a few key pieces, and definitely not many clothes!, and we will then have lots of bits made by me, my mum and bf's mum!)

I am feeling so rough today
I have been so sick, that I have nothing left to give. I have been reduced to tears now and feeling very sorry for myself.
I know I should feel grateful but at the moment it's hard to be pleased.
Welcome newbies!
8 + 6 today :j0
