  • Thanks pink_panther :)
She sleeps LOADS during the day, night times are a different matter! :D Babies just do not have any concept of night and day, and for some reason seem to come awake at night.
I am finding though that as I get the breastfeed times under control, and make sure I am being very regular with those, she is sleeping for better chunks of time.

She is only a week old though, so I'm not expecting miracles yet!

Hope no one minds me crashing the thread btw.
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
  • Am really happy that you did crash MV!

She looks very healthy, am glad you're managing to at least start to creat some sort of non-nocturnal routine:) Am worried about that part!
  • Don't worry, you'll manage :) It is a bit of an adjustment, but so so worth it :)

I'll be lurking on this thread to see how everyone is doing. xx

Well I had my scan today and it was amazing! :j:j:j

We saw our little baby bouncing up and down in my womb, which kept making me laugh. Drinking a fizzy drink an hour before certainly meant for an active baby. :rotfl: Everything looks good and the nuchal measurement was fine. They again measured me as a few days ahead than I know I am, so the baby must be a little tall like me and OH. So my new EDD is 3rd March.

After we went and told OH's family, so a good but tiring day.

Thanks Claire. It's so weird to think there's 7cm trampoliner inside me right now.:rotfl:

I now have the good fortune to move onto the next thread. See you all soon.

I've had them for a few weeks now, no longer get the agonising abdominal cramping I had in the early days but the odd twinge/pain through the day now. My midwife told me it's normal, the early pains were like strong period pains, these are more like stabbing/shooting pains.
