Just been catching up after being away for a few days with Frog at my grandma's. she loved being able to show off her GGD to all her chums

So sorry to read your news PLMBL and TTC39, I do hope you make speedy recoveries and have your loved ones close at this time xx

I've been feeling some nausea lately which I don't recall having with DD, perhaps this means Bob Bean is a boy? also been having some (apologies for the TMI!) diarrhoea which is rather naff

I'm going to be trying to get a referral to the midwives next week, not sure if I actually need to see a GP for this? Can anyone advise?

I too am nervous at the moment, scan on Wednesday. Fingers cross I have nothing to worry about as I did have the early scan two weeks ago but it still doesn't stop the worry.

Not done much today, enjoyed the bbq we went to last night after all! I think I just needed to get out of the house.

Well I have just booked our first family holiday for next year....off to Bristol next August to see my sister and for the Balloon festival. I missed it this year (last week) due to unable to get time off work and my parents have done nothing but rave about it since they got back! Looking for hotels as unable to stay with my sister (tiny 1 bed flat) - the Ibis we normally stay in only allow 2 people per room, not 2 adults 1 infant - we would have to book two rooms! So instead I have treated us to the Marriott bed and breakfast with leisure facilities to use for the same price! :rotfl:As being a travel agent, my plans always change so have booked the cancellable rate!! :rotfl:

Have finally found an all inclusive hotel I want to stay in in Majorca in September...but now reading the reviews people are saying its abit out of the resort so unless you hire a car/taxi/bus you are stuck....but thinking about it, I will be 17/18 weeks by then, not sure if I really want to be walking around everywhere....rather stay in the hotel and relax, plus its right on the beach too.....that's enough for me! All other reviews are good so might just bite the bullet and book! :j

1trainer1 - I've got my scan tomorrow too. Wish it were today so that there would be less waiting :undecided

Icey77 - I had no nausea with DD1 then loads of nausea with DD2 so it's not really related to the gender I don't think. In saying that you have a 50% chance of having a boy anyway so you might be able to say "I was right!" As for the runs, a not very nice but fairly common symptom but if you feel it's bad enough to get some medical advice then do. I would use your own judgement and I'm sure the midwife wouldn't mind you asking anyway even if it's just to get reassurance.

MrsBunny - Majorca sounds nice. I'd love to sleep in the sun for a week. Bliss and if you're right on the beach even better

Squirrel my sickness is improving too that's why I'm worrying also.

Hubbie due back by lunchtime I hope.

Spoken to doctor as the midwife I texted sat doesn't work Mondays/ weekends hence no response lol

Got appt at 11:20 tomorrow. at hospital for further scan then removal
