Thanks all of you for your kind words.

My husband is at the V festival, and I gave my ticket because I was pregnant , to his son, only 15. Hubbie goes every year, I've been last 2 years. A whole crowd of us go.

Hubbie sounded close to tears on phone when I told him earlier, but I can't expect him to come back - the kids don't know I was ,as we didn't want to tell them until 12 week scan and all ok.

Just back from my brothers and his partner, they made me eat and have looked after me.

Now having a cuppa and going to have nice bath and hopefully a good sleep.

It obviously wasn't meant to be , this time :-(

I will try again when I can though and wish all of you happy healthy pregnancy s and hopefully see u all soon again on the pregnancy thread.

Just wanted to say ttc39 I don't want to give you false hope, but something similar happened to my friend, she went for an early scan and they told her the same thing- empty sac no foetus. They made her wait until 10 weeks for the normal NHS scan before they did anything, as she'd paid for an early private scan. At the 10 week scan they checked and her baby was fine. That was over 18 mths ago now and she has a 10 mth old little girl.

I was just thinking the same thing myself last night. In the US it's routine to get early ultra sounds at around 6-9 weeks before the 12 week one. It seems pointless to me that we go to the booking in appts, give blood etc & you don't even know everything is ok yet.

Ttc oh no that's awful he's away I remember you saying now you have his son your ticket. Glad your brother looked after you & I hope your DH is home today x

Kynthia I agree that early scans should be for everyone - I had one at 6 weeks, not because there was any problems just because I was a patient of the fertility clinic. It took all of 5 mins but was definitely reassuring at that time. Id rather know then that something is wrong before you've had the chance to build yourself up. I count myself lucky that I didnt have to wait 12 weeks before the first scan, but even now I've got another 2 and a bit weeks to go until that scan and I am SO nervous. I'd have a scan every week if I could!!!
My sickness has totally disappeared now - It was horrible but at least it made me feel pregnant. Now I have nothing - I dont even seem to be getting any bigger despite the food I'm eating!
I dont want to be worrying but its easier said than done isnt it?

Sorry to hear the new TTC39 , I am off for my scan on tuesday and the morning sickness is getting better the last few days but yesterday night I was very sick and not sure why.

Food is still smelling very strong for me and I am eating plain food at the moment like potatos, pasta or plain white bread. I cant wait till I can eat a curry or pizza again as I love my food.

Nausea is gettig slowly better but still not very good and every now and then I get a bit of back pain but I am persevering....

I think I spend most of my day worrying about miscarriage I barely think about anything else than that or how ill I feel.
