Love the scans, sorry for all feeling ill, glad you've not been so sick claire....I've not thrown up but been nauseous this weekend and today!
I'm supposedly 12 weeks today but I'll stay here til I get my scan, I have fears of the scan not showing what it should show but let's wait and see before I get too het up! I didn't sleep well last night, too much on my mind.
Hungrykitten, my and hubby are rhesus neg as well, I shouldn't need anti-d should I?
I'm worried because boobs feel fine now and I still don't feel pg apart from nausea and that could just be nerves! Why is this so complicated (it could be worse so must stop complaining!??xx

Jox I think I'm exactly like you - I almost have myself convinced that the whole pregnancy is entirely in my head!
I am trying to hold back all my worries until I have seen the midwife at the end of this week though, and then I will be worried during my flights but they are only short so I think I should be fine!
I shouldn't have had such a big salad for lunch as now sat at my desk I think I look about 6 months pregnant! At least I know I've definitely still got a little room in this dress for bump growth!************************************

Yes Ive been off for a week now Becca, two more off, then I've got a week full time which I'm dreading then another week off, then back to normal. So might have to tell them if I'm really ill in a couple of weeks although I don't want to.0

Hi Jox, no you won't, it's only if there's a possibility that your baby's rhesus positive - 2 negatives can't make a positive! They sometimes inject it into your bum so you've had a lucky escape there!0 -
I've now changed my scan date to 27th August as the other was too close to my holiday for comfort. I just wish I'd hear from my midwife now.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Back from giving my bloods.... Only took 2 nurses and three try's!
Nearly threw up after the first guy had a poke around with the second needle.
The next lady was about to send me home when she found a vein! Yey!
Now, do I actually fancy anything to eat for dinner?!Mini me due March 2014

My sickness is starting to really get me down. Had it for over a week now and It's been in the evening, afternoon and now I've just thrown up in the morning! Good to have symptoms but they are feeling a bit debilitating at the moment. Who said pregnancy was enjoyable??
There's no way I wanted to tell work until after the scan but the way I'm going I'm not sure how much longer I can get away with it!0 -

I'm a natural worrier but not really feeling like much is going on is making me a little worse.
I have to take a sample to my appointment on Friday - does anyone know if they can confirm there and then if you're pregnant? Really tempted to get another test and take it just before we go. I'm convinced it's all a dream and I will wake up realising I've wasted everybody's time
I fear that this visit might be a bit of an anti climax. As a midwife I never confirmed a pregnancy as over-the-counter tests are so reliable. Also it is too early to hear a heartbeat. The booking in is mostly a clerical appointment - gaining info and giving info about local services and how appointments work. They book the scan for 12 weeks and talk about screening. Also bloods and a urine sample to test for a urine infection. I think you need to be prepared for this - they dont routinely scan any earlier unless there has been bleeding or pain and then that is done via the Early Pregnancy Unit xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Decided to call in sick today... Vomiting has escalated in last hour and have been sick about 5 times. Hope this isn't going to have to result in an early announcement a la Kate Middleton!0
