Brilliant news MrsBunny and such a cute pic! It's extra special for me as we are due the same day and fingers crossed my little one looks just like yours!
It's strange actually, because I think I ovulated on CD11 so technically I could be 10+5 too depending on how quickly things got going!

Best win so far - holiday to Florida0 -
If you ovulated CD 11 then you would be 10+5, or perhaps 10+4, but not less because the egg lasts apparently 12 to 24 hours, so no way could it have been fertilised as late as CD 14.0

I agree, but until scan says otherwise I'm classed as 10+2 by LMP. I can't wait to get to 12 weeks so would love to jump forward a few days! After that I can just slow down and enjoy it XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Mrsbunny - I'm so pleased for you. :j
I can't believe how good your scan pic is, it makes mine look even worse. It's probably because my bladder wasn't full enough, also I'm a week behind you. It's a shame as the sonographer had a couple I'd decent views when measuring but the print out they gave me shows a big empty space. I'm just relieved there was a heartbeat but it would have been nice to show my mum tomorrow.
So how did you all tell your parents? Do we just go round tomorrow and say we have some news....."we're having a baby!"?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments I can not stop looking at the photos.
I told my parents 3 days after we found out....i was 4+3 then, first grandchild and my mum is a retired midwife. Couldn't keep it secret from them. I just pop round one day had a brew and just said im pregnant!! Never seen my mum so happy she scream and cried!!! Dad just said that's good news and carried on reading his paper!! Mum has said that he is over joyed and can't wait. I'm glad I told them early....have had quite a few lunch dates with my mum since!
I have my booking in appt on Wednesday then hopefully I will get a 12 week scan date through
Oh, my DH would like to know if anybody knows the scale of the scan images? I said the photo we have today is probably the actual size it is, future ones will be to scale!!! No idea why he wants to know.....men!!
Right time to try and sleep im shattered but wide awake if that makes sence. X x xProud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -

Even though we're both the eldest in our families, both of our younger sisters have 2 children already. So our parents are used to being grandparents, they are all between 6 and 10, but I know they will love to have a new baby in the family. Also our sisters are desperate to be aunties.
Did you get any paperwork along with your scan as ours has the measurements on. We were told the baby measured 2.66cm which I assume is head to bum. Therefore your baby must be a little bigger, perhaps 3.5ish.
I'm the opposite, I have a scan date but no midwife appointment yet.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Congrats on scans ladies!
Claire that's a great improvement, don't worry the tablets are obviously doing their thing.
Re telling parents - we had been planning a family holiday next April so at the dinner table I just said we won't be able to go on the holiday now, we'll have a baby by then
9+6First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I've just emailed to book a private scan for when I should be 9 weeks & 1 day. It means I can go on the day I choose which will be a lot harder to do with the nhs. I'm just paranoid now because I still feel sick but haven't vomited so I just need some reassurance & if its all gone wrong again I've got 7 days off work after that day so time to deal with things. I'm just so pessimistic I guess it's because I don't know any different.
The first time we told my parents at 4 weeks 1 day when I'd just done the test as we were on holiday together. My sister was also there & she lives abroad and I said I think you should change your trip here to July, and then she guessed and then my mum started crying & dancing about.
This time we had my parents over, DH got everyone to say cheers, and then my dad said oh your garden looks nice, then DH said 'Claire's pregnsnt!' Then my mum said 'yeah the garden... Hang on what!! Omg!' And then started crying!
My dad is very excited too but this time he has managed not to tell every man & his dog which he did in the excitement of last time as he knows now why not to!!0
