  • Lol. Have you got cravings already?

Really wanted fish so made a fish pie. But then, probably because I had unknowingly developed a hyper-sensitive sense of smell, my entire house smelt of the fishmongers like it's never done before and lasted for days. :rotfl:

Don't know if it's really so much craving, more that it's all I really fancy - chips, white bread, cake - all the bad stuff :o I absolutely HAD to have chip shop chips and batter yesterday!! I have to force myself to have fruit as I don't fancy it at all, and that's strange for me as I usually love it.

I know what you mean about smells too. Even just the thought of your house smelling like fish makes me feel ill, no offence . I find myself on the edge of gagging a lot and it only takes a thought to push me over, not even the actual smell.

    There's a heartbeat!!!!!! :j:j:j

I'm so relieved. I would post the photo but it's terrible, you can't see the baby at all! I don't know why they didn't use the one where they measured it's length as that was a clear shot and we could see the fluttering of the heart. She measured me at 9+4 which is not possible as I know I ovulated 14th June and therefore am 9 or 9+1 depending how quick a sperm got there. I know they have a margin of error though. I can't wait to tell my mum tomorrow. :j
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • Brilliant news Kynthia :T Congratulations! Enjoy telling your Mum Xx

Glad to hear it went well kynthia.

Having a very very lazy day, most I've done is put some washing in and iron oh shorts for work this week.
Nausea still hanging about but nothing I can't handle! Feeling lucky ATM, but know it'll prob get worse!!

    7 weeks today :D
 Mini me due March 2014
  • Very happy for you Kynthia:) Would still love to see a pic, even if it's kind of like playing where's wally:)

Dreaming of being able to find food tasty like you are Please Let Me Be lucky. Just as I'd resolved to eat the model diet for two and I've gone off literally all food, and now that I've finally got rid of the fishmonger smell, I've got a new coffee table so my lounge reeks to high heaven of wood furniture stores.

Yay Yay Yay I have a heart beat too!!! :j:j:j

We got there are we didn't have an appointment in their book - the lady forgot to write me in  and instead of a 10 min apt she had someone on a 30 minute one. Lucky for us the other couple were lovely and said we can go in in front of them, we were so thankful. :D

My DH was amaze at all the images and we couldn't chose two to print out! we did in the end and also got a usb stick with them all on!

I can not stop smiling. She measured me at 10+5 but I work myself out at 10+2, we will see when I have my proper 12 week scan.

I am going to 'try' and add a picture shortly. (never done it before!) x x x

It's been a fun day for me.. Horrendous sickness today all day so spent most of it in bed. I'm usually nauseous on the eve and fine on the day but its not gone anywhere today.
I've thrown up twice already and more to come i feel can hardly move myself either.
8 weeks tomorrow - hope its not going to get much worse than this!

I took one tablet last night Becca, the dr ended up changing the prescription to cyclazine, which you can take 3 times a day but it still says it can make you drowsy.

It's weird I've only so far thrown up once today so now I'm
paranoid something is wrong, I'm knackered & still off my food but feel panicky now. So in a weird way I hope I'm sick later on. I just can't deal with 11 times!

Sounds bad squirrel! Hope youre feeling a bit better.I have read it peaks at 8 weeks although god knows how bad that could be for me in that case lol!
