MrsBunny I'm getting a lot of headaches at the minute too. It's reassuring that we are experiencing the same symptoms at the same time and it tallys up with what we are 'supposed to experience in week 10. I laughed when I read 'week 10 is a very emotional week' having just had a major outburst followed by a total meltdown!
becca I felt the same a few days to a week ago. I was worried that all my symptoms had disappeared but they came back with a vengence yesterday. Also, last night my bump looked so big that DH joked it must be triplets, yet this morning it looks quite normal again.
claire I hope you get somewhere with the doctor.

9 weeks today! I've only been tired and nauseous with terrible indigestion for the 11 days so I can't complain too much. I've also not had mood swings, extra sensitive sense of smell or frequent urination....yet. I'm still finding commuting hard, especially as a person under a train ment it took me almost 3 hours to get home last night plus an extra £15.
I can't believe I'm halfway up the list now! Also I'm very nervous about my private scan tomorrow. What happens if something's wrong, do I need to then pass the info onto my GP and get the NHS involved? No midwife appointment yet either.
Have a lovely Friday everyone.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Sam - Glad the consultant was nice enough to chat with you afterwards. I didn't realise they did that, and I imagine it makes a huge difference to have confirmation that it wasn't your body, and that the embryo had problems. Take care.
Claire - I'm pleased you're speaking to a doctor. 11 times in 24 hours isn't normal. I'm sure they'll be able to give you some drugs, and even if not, you need to make them aware so they can monitor you, esp in this hot weather. You don't want to get dehydrated.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Just spoken to the dr & she's writing me a prescription for a few days worth of tablets, she said something about it not being completely safe in animal studies in the 3rd trimester, I was thinking er I'm not that far along! Anyway she said try them as if I get too dehydrated i could end up in hospital - which is exactly what I'm trying to prevent. I think it's the anti histamine I read about on some websites. Anyway it won't be ready until 5/6pm and she said you take the tables before you go to bed so I've just got to make it through today.
I said ok I've only had it for a couple of days but its really bad & I know it's not going to be a one day thing!
Becca I can't pretend I wouldn't be worrying too but everything you've posted so far has sounded really reassuring to me, you've got a nice little bump which at 9 weeks probably will be still deflating in the mornings. It is a worrying time, like TL said its because you care so much already x0 -
Kynthia I'm not sure I have the same questions about a private scan myself. Maybe they are able to contact the right people or perhaps you'd have to call your gp. Hopefully you won't need to worry about that though x0

Thanks TL, ladyandthetramp, pleaseletmebelucky & claire - DH worried me last night, I was in bed and he said oh your tummy looks really flat. Git! I'm sure I'll feel rubbish later, that's what normally happens. I won't relax until the scan!
Kynthia - I was concerned about the same thing with a private scan. When I read on their website, it said if anything was wrong they would immediately refer you on to the hospital with notes etc.
Claire - so glad she has given you something (although she could have done it a bit quicker) I'm just so anxious. It's taken us nearly 18 months to get to this point and I really couldn't face anything going wrong. I need to think positively!

Hope you feel better soon Claire, sounds awful to be sick so any times, take care of yourself.
I'm second on the list, woohoo to have made it this far (well I'm not getting too excited til I get a scan date and actually see if there is a baby in there).
I bumped into a friend yesterday who invited me for a drink, she said she had a bottle of wine at home to share, I said I'm not drinking at the moment and she asked if I was pg, I said maybe and said no more! Why can't I just not drink without raising suspicion! I had a juice and cornetto at her house instead! If all is well at the scan then I'll tell the world
It's Friday again, the weeks are going quite quickly so far...

Well baby brain has well and truly set in!!!! Just a few examples:
I opened a tin of beans and put half in a pot in the fridge, I went back to the fridge a couple of minutes later and saw a pot of beans and thought oh they are old ones and threw them away of course I realised as soon as I put them in the bin they were the ones I had only just put in the fridge!!!!
And then with my scan date I was convinced I was on holiday until 29th August so I changed my scan date from 28th August to 4th September and it was only when I was working out my day off at work that I realised what I was back from holiday on 22 August d'oh! Luckily they were able to change my scan date back to 28th August.
Seriously I'm not sure I'm safe to be late out on my owngoing OH the job of making sure we don't forget anything for holiday!!!
MW called this morning all the blood I gave at my book in appointment couldn't be processed for some reason so I've got to do it all again! I don't have time to go to the hospital before holiday so she is happy with me to do it when I give blood at my 12 week scan.0 -

becca, just popping in from the later thread....
My bump changes size on a day to day basis. Some days if I lay down completely flat, I just look really podgy. That's gravity for you!
You can have some of my symptoms too if you like :rotfl:
29+1Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
I've got my scan date - 20th August, I will be 12+5. Can't remember who updates the lists sorry, but would you mind adding it for me please? Thanks. Also, can you change my due date to 26th Feb please, the app I used said 27th but the midwife has calculated it as 26th. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
