The 28 days cycle thing is comical really, meant I had my '12 week' scan at 9 weeks (they were expecting 11+)!

Sam, appreciate you coming on here to let us all know how you are, can't even imagine what you are going through - take care of yourself.

Claire, there are definitely things they can give you for sickness as my colleague had dreadful sickness all the way through and they kept giving her things to try and help (they didn't in her case but are certainly worth trying).

When I phoned my GP, he sounded over the moon for me. Told me to pop and see him later that day. He then asked for date of my last period (21st June) and asked to see my log of how regular my periods had been. He actually said it's based on 28 days, but it's not common now to be on a 28 day cycle!! Quite refreshing to hear, reading what others have said on here.

Is it possible to have cravings already?
    I'm 5 + 6.

Also, dizziness is getting really bad now. Not sure what I can do about that? Does anyone else have this? xx

I've been sick twice since my last post! I've had to move a fan into the bathroom & I'm now lying in bed probably going to try to sleep x

    I've been Money Tipped!
Claire I think that they should either give you something/refer you on to someone who can especially as you've had it bad before. Take care xx

Marbaha I have the dizziness too, it's horrible :( just try and rest as much as you can. I also have a craving for fruit flavoured sweets like starburst! All I want to eat.

I'm stressed today over the stupidest thing. I'm still taking metformin and went to pick up my prescription from the chemist. The chemist asked me if I had my exemption certificate (he was assuming it was for diabetes) I said it wasn't for that, but I should be getting a maternity exemption form soon and he was like "ah your pregnant, well you get your prescriptions for free anyway, lets just tick this box and it'll all be fine!"

I don't think ill get my certificate for at least another 4 or 5 weeks so I'm now worried that they'll check up on the records, see I don't have a certificate and ill get into trouble!! I know it's trivial bit things like that really stress me out as I'm always so honest!!

Squirrel you'll have it by the time anyone asks for proof and its backdated to a month before they received it- if they only received te form today the certificate would be valid from 1 July so you'd be covered x

Take care Sam, I'm glad the procedure went well and I hope your blood pressure comes back up quick.

Claire - the NHS website says that extreme morning sickness needs specialist treatment and monitoring and that your doctor/midwife might recommend medication. See lower down the page on the below link:
