Oh Lara I am so so sorry to hear that. A lot of us know how you feel, I found a lot of support on the miscarriage thread on here xx

I've been looking online and found a place near me that does scans from 8 weeks plus for £75. I'm thinking about booking one on a Saturday in August, just before I have a week off work as Id be 9 weeks then and the last time it stopped at 8+4 so it might reassure me somewhat. But also that way if the worst happens, Ill have a week before I have to worry about going back to work and that should be enough to 'sort it out' medically. I know that sounds really pessimistic but the way the timings work out and the price isn't too bad I think I might go for it..If I even get that far. I just cant help but think the worst.

But my friend pointed out to me the other day that as hard as it is to stay positive, the chances are on my side and at the same time none of us can prevent the bad stuff, in the end to get a baby, this is the risk we have to take. If you see what I mean? I will never get a baby unless I keep trying and unfortunately that means the possibility of good and bad.

Had one really bad bout of pain in my hip and front today but just feels achy tonight. Meet up some family today they kept asking me if i was having any more kids and when it was all very awkward. We agreed not to tell anyone else until OH tells his kids. Looking forward to seeing bean again tomorrow and asking about my pain
