Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

Had my GP appointment this morning and it was nice as my OH came and my doctor was so happy. She sent me to the hospital for blood tests so now I'm very late for work. I forgot to ask her about medications and food to avoid and apart from telling me to take vitamins she didn't give any other advice.

I hope everyone's scans go okay today.

Little Lowe is completely fine if an awkward, lazy thing lol :j:j:j

When we first saw it it was asleep with its arms and legs in the air and she couldn't get the nuchal fold measurement so was properly jabbing me really hard with the probe, and it would roll over but not the way she wanted, kept turning to face us. so strange seeing it move but not feeling it lol

Measuring exactly according to my dates and i'm 12+1 so time for the next thread i guess...

good luck to those having scans today as well, lets have a clean sweep

Welcome and congratulations ttc39 and lushlifesaver! I always wonder why people use 'ttc' and 'bride to be' etc in their names as they inevitably reach that target then what happens?!

Doc appt this am was good. Said to book a booking in appt in about 2 weeks with the midwife.

Told me to be prepared for miscarriage .

Tmi I know but have a really bad tummy :-( xx

Called my Doc this am and they said they don't need to see me and to book an appointment directly with the midwife!

They gave me her mobile number as I should be about 4wk by their estimations (obviously because they go based on the first day of your last period!) No answer yet but I left a message - I can do it directly with her as they only have her appointments up to the 16th for their surgery but she does other clinics in different places so may have me pop to one of those.

I'm booked to go to Belgium for a week in August (just about when I'd be 7wks) but they have said I should be fine, just to take care. Will need to tell those I'm going with otherwise they may expect me to join in with the drinking (rugby trip!)

it appears to be like brown blood but creamy/watery.. ive got cramps too..

omg i will be so gutted if its going wrong.. :-( xx

TTC - Sorry I missed your update. I know it's really easy for me to say, but try not to get too worked up. There isn't anything you can do and regardless of outcome it isn't your fault. Could you go home? It is just a case of waiting it out. Am I right in thinking that you got a + test yesterday?

TTC39 - was there a reason they told you to prepare for mc? Was it just because of your age? Horrible thing to say without good reason. :cool:

got the first postive test albeit faint friday.. saturday did the clearblue ones.. saying 2-3..

have done another one before i left house..still says positive..

hope i am just worrying myself unnecessarily.. :-(

she said it in a nice way.. just that it does happen.. (she was really nice) told me she had her 2nd at 41 and that it is so not unusual now to be an older mum .xx
