Yesterday I went to debenhams and bought two new bras a cup size up from usual, one light, one dark. These will see me through a few weeks til I have had the scan and had time to get back to the shops. Thought I'd hop on the scales this morning to see if my weight has gone up significantly with the bigger boobs... Surprised to see I'd lost half a stone since I last weighed myself which was around the time we got the positive for bean. I suppose trying to eat a little healthier twinned with the fact I feel full quickly these days has been good for me (especially compared to post-miscarriage comfort eating which was the previous six months). My boobs are enormous though
    Scan Thursday. Ridiculously nervous.

  • Good luck for Thursday Fran, you must be bricking it but I'm sure it will be fine. I'm not being referred for any early scans despite the miscarriages, and I don't know which is worse, waiting for one, or waiting because I'm not having one!!

Cherry, you are still very much in my thoughts, hope you are as ok as you can be today Xx

I have also lost 1/2 a stone for the exact same reasons, plus I've gone off chocolate - THE. WORLD. HAS. GONE. MAD!

I've got round the boob thing by buying a couple of those belvia bras - I can expand into them! Good luck for Thursday!

I've gone made for crisps too. I've also been having strawberries with cream to increase my fruit intake, I know I should drop the cream but I'm weak, so I've put on a couple of pounds already. :( I'm still freaking out about having no symptoms. Apart from very uncomfortable cramps and sore boobs I'm still feeling great at 6+2. I was at a party last night and stayed mostly standing in this heat until after midnight, chatting with friends and listening to the karaoke. Surely I should be getting too tired for that? One good thing is that hubbie is still fussing over me which I love. I'd imagine that after nine months of being fussed over it would be hard to give that up once the baby's arrived. :rotfl:

Back to bleeding for me today but it is very very dark hopeful thats the blood sac making its exit. Its not loads but enough to make me worried. I may call the EPU if the Midwife agrees. I am seeing her today for my booking in.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Xx

    Becca - Yay for 7 weeks.:j

Samtoby - Did they tell you to expect the sac to make an exit or its this totally unexpected. Hope it is nothing serious.

Kynthia - I still have very few symptoms. It is a bit unnerving sometimes but the doc and the midwives keeptelling me that everything is fine and I am ''one of the lucky ones''.

I have told my OH I expect to be pampered for more than 9 months as will have to recover from the birth while looking after a newborn :p

So sorry to hear your news Cherry :( Hope you and your OH are looking after yourselves and you're back here soon.

Sam- Hope the bleed is nothing serious and as you say, just the last of the sac leaving. :)

How hot was it this weekend??? We had a couple of days out with a little wandering around and both days I was done by 3pm, couple barely lift my feet I was so tired! Was asleep by 10.15 last night! :o

Scan a week today, I'm excited but nervous! Will feel so much better once I know that there's definitely a baby in there (will ignore the fact that OH is hoping for twins!) and I'm not just getting a bit fat! :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
