Had my appointment with the doc today all seemed a waste of time no urine or blood test just took my word for it lol. All she did was put it on the system and filled out out the form for free prescriptions. However I was then allowed to book my first midwife appointment on 26th July which just under 8 weeks :) I now feel the need to buy another pg test but I know it will be a waste of money. Off shopping tomorrow to try and find some loose clothes to try and hide the massively bloated belly at work :D

6 weeks today and still waiting for definite symptoms. I was exhausted all day on Tuesday and Wednesday, although I'm usually tired as I don't sleep enough but this was worse, and I had horrible backache all day. Today I feel fine though. The only consistant symptom is horrible cramps. It's put a dampener on any 'romantic' time with my OH, which is strange after ttc for nearly a year! :rotfl:

I'm desperate to tell people and keep having to bite my tongue big time. I'll be amazed if I last another 6 weeks.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Mrsbunny, (sorry to barge in again but) from what I've heard Leighton doesn't have the best rep. Sister started off there and transferred to Wythenshawe after some research and a bad experience at Leighton. I would consider fighting for Warrington if I were you - my community midwife and birth hospital midwife work in different boroughs, it just means I have 2 sets of notes!

Welcome! Some people have symtoms some don't but I do think its amazing how something so small can have such an effect!

I still feel sick but it is just about keeping my blood sugar up by constantly eating.

I have to drive to Swindon today so not looking forward to that in this heat.

I have choices between two hospitals. One is a specialist maternity unit and one is just a maternity in a ward.

    Enjoy your day girls.

Well my scan confirmed my gut instinct I guess. Baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. No heartbeat found so its definitely over.

I'm completely heartbroken but I understand these things happen. He/she obviously wasn't ready to make an appearance in this crap world just yet.

Just want to say thanks to everyone here and I wish you all the best of luck with the rest if your pregnancies.
