Sometimes a good old cry is just what you need. Even if the reason why is not what you need.
I feel sick. Meh this taste is vile thought it was wearing off :-(3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Team lowe, yep, they move up and around
There's a page on the Nhs choices website that shows the various hospitals close to you and how they've rated compared with each other on various points - might be worth a look for those unsure?

Yep-I agree a good old cry can really help!
I am turning into a sleeping machine! Sleeping all the time. Hubby wants us to get a new car and I just about bite his head off every time he dares to mention it..."how can I possibly think about a new car when I'm so tired!!?!" Oh dear...poor man!! :eek:0 -
Oh and I read that once there is a heartbeat the chance of miscarriage is massively reduced. Wish they would scan people routinely at week 7/8 as this would be so reassuring. I'm nearly week 8 and beginning to feel more quietly optimistic that I won't miscarry but know that nothing is sure and certainly until I see a scan there is no certainly that there even is a heartbeat.
Got a bit carried away yesterday and bought the most beautiful little new born girls outfit in M&S sale!! I told my OH that it's for a 'friend' but all the friends I know at the moment are team blue. Ooopsie!!!0 -
Yay, got my scan appointment! A week on Monday! :T I'm so excited but so scared! Can't wait to see my beanie!
I'll put the list up in a minute with my update on, if anyone wants to go on the list shout up and I'll edit it then it's there for everyone else to quote and add to from now on!

Morning everyone,
I am feeling ok this morning; but still the funny taste.
I wish I had my 12 week scan date! So many on the 22nd of July as well! I am ever hopeful I will get before the 26th because my son goes on holiday with his Dad for nearly two weeks then and if I don't get a scan before then I will have to wait until the 6th of August to tell him before I can tell anyone else!!
Thanks Birdie for doing the list I am worrying I am getting nearer and nearer the top. I remember when I was at the bottom!
Have a good day everyone -
Becca - you ok?

Does everyone just have their OHs with them at the scan? Talking to some people at work, quite a few have had their Mums with them which never even occured to me but now I'm wondering if we're being mean by excluding them? I text my Mum with my scan date and she offered to come if I need her and I know she wants to go but then said 'Oh I imagine hubby won't want me there but offer's open if you would like me with you' which means she really wants to go but doesn't want to intrude and making me feel a bit mean if I say I don't want her! She felt a bit left out during my brother's wife's pregnancy and I don't want her to feel that way with me... but when I asked OH if we should invite our Mums he said it's a bit weird and would rather not! Oh dear...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Birdie does your letter say how many people can come with you? Ultrasound scan rooms are usually quite small, theres normally just enough room for the machine, a trolley for you to lie on and a few chairs etc.
I'm just having my husband there, I'll send them photos afterwards if all is well. I'm planning to drive to my nanna's after the scan to tell her our news, she'll be so excited! Mine is on the 24th, I'm really nervous something will be wrong. Is anyone having the NT scan and blood test? I am, but still don't know what to think about it.
My midwife didn't give me a choice of where to give birth, she didn't even discuss it! I'll be at Wythenshawe hospital.0
