My little baby is now officially too old for this thread (moved forward again, so now 12+2 with EDD 14th Jan), so I'm moving onto the 12-24 weeks ... although can't promise I won't lurk around these here parts to check how you're all getting on! See you over there soon

AFM, counting down the days until I'm 7 weeks by my dates so I can phone up for an apppointment. Seems to be dragging!

Mazzerati, at my early scan I was 7 weeks by my dates (from ov) but they said around 6+2 on the scan. Then at the 12wk scan going by my dates I was 12+4 and they dated me 12+5, so bob on really. Just goes to show how much less accurate those early ones can be, so don't get too stuck on the dates just yet

Samtoby so happy for you, and what a great picture, starting to look like an actual baby! Makes me want to get another one but had to wait two weeks for an appointment last time so there's no point as it's just over two weeks til my 12 week and I'm already bricking it.

Boss has agreed to let me take this morning as flexi so I'm going to try and get in to see the doctor- one of those ring at eight jobbies so hopefully I'll get an appointment and discuss what I can do about these headaches/migraines x

Something does not want me to have this scan

The ward has just rung me. They've got a lot of sickness and are going to have reschedual me till Monday. I'm not urgent because the discharge is minor. It's not heavy and I don't have pains, sickness etc. doesn't stop me worrying though does it

I can't wait all weekend. I'm going to look for a private clinic. I don't even know what an early scan will cost but its got to be better than spending all weekend feeling like this

My bean on the 18th June measured 5+4 but there was a heart beat so the Sonographer said they assume at least 6 weeks if a heartbeat is visable. The 5+4 is way out of my dates.

My scan yesterday measured 9 so bub has caught up and the Sonographer said its best to take 12 week scan dates.

I went on my own yesterday so when my partner got home I showed him the pictures he was so happy. He said it was scary how quick they grow and change. I joked thats the same through growing up in childhood!

Just want the next three weeks gone quickly without any troubles

Cherry I know exactly how this feels as I had bleeding but it was this sac of blood that is next to the pregnancy. Hopefully you can get a scan x

MrsBunny, I was driving for about an hour last weekend and felt pretty sick by the time we got to the destination, god knows how I'd have felt if I'd let my OH drive! Just more fun symptoms, eh?

I haven't really had many symptoms this week which is of course freaking me out! OH just keeps telling me that I'm a pregnancy gladiator and to be pleased, but not particularly feeling PG is not reassuring!

Cherry_bomb - I googled private early pregnancy scans just last night and found a clinic in London charging about £150/170 for a sonographer to do it. They also did evenings and weekends and you could pay for a consultant to do it too. I just don't know if I can wait until 12 weeks but I don't think my OH will support me when there's no cause for concern.

Teamlowe - I hope you get an appointment and something for your migraines.

AFM I'm 5 weeks today! I still have no symptoms other than the cramps. Although I do wonder whether the bad backache about midway up my back is pregnancy related as I don't usually get it for days like this. I'm still staying up far too late at night and wondering when the extreme tiredness will hit. It's silly but I'm so worried about a mc or finding out during my 12 week scan that the bean stopped at 8 weeks that I'm reluctant to even tell my mum.

I think i am 11 weeks now. Can someone post a link for the thing that tells you how many week and days I am? Thanks

I am feeling really worried about the scan now. I am going to tell 2 real life friends today in case i need there support if things arent good. I wish it was sunday and all over with! I am also worried about telling my family too.

I am not sure if other half can come to the scan either
