Pigpen I remember last time he was very distant the whole pregnancy but then when she was born said he wouldn't mind another. Maybe he won't be as bad as last time.

I had told him, but I don't think it even registered... men are hard work.

Kitten, he said he wants a boy but not yet while these are still small.. he did say in about 10 years but I would too geriatric then.. anyway.. he is getting this whether he likes it or not, it was waving at me yesterday and arching its back so it was really long.

I am feeling grumpy (although trying not to).
    - I am feeling exhausted - was knackered after walking up 2 flights of stairs today (and only took the stairs as the lift was broken!).
    - I have outgrown all of my bras - even the stretchy sports bras are too small and uncomfortable,
    - and I feel soooo bloated - I reckon I look 3-4 months pregnant at the moment but I'm only 7 weeks (although not properly pregnant as it's just pushed out my fat so I look like I've suddenly put on 2 stone!). I really don't want to go into maternity clothes yet, but I'm getting to the point where nothing fits:eek:
And I'm hearing stories about miscarriages at every turn, so am feeling guilty for being grumpy:o

I feel exactly the same! My work clothes are all so uncomfortable so I'm trying to stick to leggings where poss. Jeans are a no go. I too am considering maternity wear but I'm the same as you at only 7 weeks and it feels way too early! I'm also knackered all the time and grumpy, but with a lovely side of all day long nausea and mega bloat! I feel bad cos really it could be worse, I could be vomiting all the time and I'm glad I'm not, but also I don't want to wish my symptoms away cos they remind me that all is well with the lentil in my tummy! I panic when I feel fine for 5 minutes, lol!

I'm also having to wear the biggest most scary bras ever (!) poor OH is not used to me being such a big mess lol

By the way anyone feeling nausea all day try Ritz or Tuc crackers. I carry a box of them everywhere I go now! Only thing I can stomach apart from chips and toast. I'm gonna have a fat baby haha!

10 years?! what are you, a cow for him to pick and choose when he wants the kids? I'd just say to him you obviously didn't get pregnant by yourself so man up and deal with it as you don't want another s!tty pregnancy.
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..

I just consider myself exceptionally lucky to have each and every one of them. There are so many wonderful loving people out there struggling and I truly feel for every single one of them, I cannot imagine what they go through every day and every month.. it is so unfair. I know I moan about mine but I wouldn't be without them most of the time.

I think he should count himself very very fortunate that I am willing and able to have our 3 after my 8. I am actually in a much stronger place emotionally with this one than I was with Dot so I will be less doormat-like hopefully.. and I sure as hell he will not be sloping off to stay over at some dirty tramps house when it arrives.. his nuts would be handed to him in a guilded cup!

And now I sound like a total dragon lol.

I'm exactly like this! I only have one pair of jeans that I can button up :o Luckily it's a casual office so I don't have to wear smart clothes, but I'm quickly running out of options of what to wear. It still feels to early to buy maternity trousers, but I have invested in some baggy tops to hide my bloat a bit!

Also pretty sure people at work are cottoning on. I've been feeling rough in the mornings and haven't been drinking as much tea as usual. A colleague asked me to help move some boxes around today and I had to make an excuse about having a bad back - he said he thought I was going to say I couldn't lift things because I'm pregnant, and other people have been speculating too. It's not that I don't want them to know, but after having a miscarriage before I'd rather wait until I've had a 12 week scan before I share the news.

Hope everyone is doing well, hugs for anyone that needs them!

Have you tried using a hairband to hold your trousers together it can keep you in normal trousers for a bit longer. Just thread it through the hole and around the button.

Have been to epu today. Early scan due to brown spotting on Monday.

Saw little smudge with heartbeat, measuring 6+1 which is pretty much spot on.

I'm pleased but cautious as I've been in this position before. Keeping everything crossed!
