Hope the list is right :)

Kynthia - If you want to eat runny eggs, eat them. It's quite easy to get too carried away with everything you "shouldn't eat" these days. I think them carrying the red lion symbol is more important as it confirms the chicken has been vaccinated again salmonella?

Hope everyone is feeling utterly terrible :D

Can I be added to the list? EDD 17th Feb 2014 :T

Also can I just ask when people took themselves off to their docs? I went about a week ago and my GP sent me away saying its too early and made me an appointment for another month (by which time ill be around 8 weeks gone or 10 weeks if they go by date of last period rather than ovulation date)
Now this isn't my first baby but I don't remember being sent away with him because I was too early? Surely it's good that I'm getting organised now there won't e such a rush to squeeze me for my 12 week scan etc. I'm not annoyed or anything I mean its no problem going back but I just felt a bit stupid sitting there and him looking at me like I had 2 heads.

my hair is also a lot greasy too! though I do go through stages where I need to wash it every day to washing it every 3 days or so. Not sure if it is pregnancy related?

Me too! I've got quite thick long hair which I've never had to wash everyday. Could easily go 3-4 days no problem. Now I'm having to do it every day! Such a chore seeing as it takes at least an hour to dry and straighten. I'm hoping it passes. I can't keep this up till Feb :D

Oh I sympathise with the bloating. I only had my BFP a few days ago and I can feel it already :D Problem is I had a bit of a belly to begin with as well so once the baby starts pushing out a bit I'm going to look about 7 months :rotfl: Does this mean I can let it all hang out in front of DH and blame the pregnancy? Do men realise it's only tiny at the moment? Hope not.

It's lovely and sunny here, going to be roasters tomorrow. Now I've got my BFP I can go and sleep in the garden guilt free :)

ps this can be a worrying time but I've decided not to worry as it won't make any difference. I'll see how long that lasts....

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend x

Faithhope you're right, worrying changes nothing but unfortunately I'm a born worrier so I'm finding it hard not to be completely neurotic! Wish I could be more like DH, he's convinced everything will be fine this time :)

I agree time is going sooo slowly, although it makes me feel better that there are people less pregnant than me, hated having the latest due date of the thread cos it made it seem even longer to twelve weeks lol

I'm a big girl too and the pregnancy bloat is making the bottom of my belly stick out more than the top, looks odd lol

Congratulations on 12 weeks BigZ, hope you have a fantastic scan day :)

Sickness is back with a vengeance. _pale_

Quite pleased though - I'd started to get paranoid this morning. Pregnancy makes you weird! :rotfl:

I wouldn't worry about them having to rush with scan dates. Despite what they say, there are always dates available and given that you've ov'ed quite late in your cycle it would probably be a good thing if your scan is a bit later on.

It seems to depend very much on area but a lot of places don't bother with anyone until they are 8/9 weeks. There isn't much point doing a booking in appointment and organising scans etc really early given the miscarriage rate. I know some women here have been see as early as 5 weeks, but that's never happened anywhere that I've lived :o

BZ - 12 weeks already. Jeez that has gone really fast.

    - Welcome and Congratulations. I didn't go to my doctor at all. I called the practice and they booked me straight in with the midwife. I must have been 5 weeks when I first saw her and she booked me in for an early scan because I had fertility treatment. Next appointment wasnt with her till 9 weeks.

My sickness has gone this morning so it was probably something I ate yesterday.
