Thread-hopping again, regarding hair...mine went really greasy too so I got the Cussons Mum to Be Shampoo (as my current one ran out anyway) and I've used it all the way through as it's really nice and doesn't weigh you hair down. Not too expensive too - think it's on offer in Boots0

Fiery don't worry about baby, they'll take all they need from your existing nutrient stores. It's you who'll suffer lol
Take good care of yourself, try to keep your fluids up if you can't face food, maybe fruit juice if you can for the vitaminsxLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Baby will be absolutely fine.. They get what they need from your body.. though until about 10 weeks they are relying on the yolk sac rather than the placenta so you might feel dreadful and lose weight while little squiggle is sat there chuckling and growing!
Eating does actually help fend off the nausea.. the trick is to catch the right moment to eat between bouts. /focus on staying hydrated though.. that is more important than the food.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
So glad I'm not the only one whose hair is suddenly greasier than it has been for years!
I went shopping with friends today, had to make excuses as to why I wasn't buying anything - wasn't ready to say 'because I won't fit into them pretty soon'!
Hope those of you with sickness aren't feeling too bad - hasn't it me yet - not looking forward to it!0 -
Hi everyone
Samtoby - Hope you enjoyed Disney. I love it, I'm such a big kid.
Starshinning - So you have two girls as well with a bit of an age gap. Unfortunately I'm the same in that I've had quite a few pregnancies. This is my 7th!!!
msmoneypenny - yes this wait till 12 weeks feels really long and I've only done four days so far :rotfl:
Mincepiemonster - Lovely to see your scan
Kynthia - That trip through France sounds lovely altho tiring. Do you get seasick cos if you do you could have morning sickness and seasickness if you go for the cruise
TeamLowe - Oh no!! That film is awful - no warning about the content either. We watched it when we were away for a weekend shortly after mc
Becca - You'll find once people know you're pg you'll get all kinds of 'helpful' advice like "get your sleep in now, you'll need it hahaha". What's really needed is to get all your sleep in before you get pg cos it's not always easy to get a good night's sleep once you are. In saying that I might get a better sleep if my neighbour who's in his 50s didn't go out on his motorbike at 6.45am on a Sunday morning!!! I'm going to buy him a p*nis extender and have it delivered. I figure that's maybe what he needs :rotfl:0 -
Faithhope very true! DH got in at 3am last night and I'm so hot at night ( just me?!) I have all the windows open so I got woken at 9 by someone on our street hammering!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140
