After going to the doctors today because iv been having a bit of bleeding, stomach pain and awful back ache I'm going to the early pregnancy unit tomorrow for a scan. anybody else had one so early? I'm only 5 weeks. i know they probably can't see anything much...I'm really nervous although after reading the last few posts I feel a bit better as lots of ladies are describing symptoms the same as mine.

congrats to all the new joiners to the thread xx

hugs x hope everything is okay x
Just take each day as it comes. :)

    Hi Becca

My due date is saying 5th March by the date of my last period. I think the online calculators assume a 28 day cycle but I'm not sure what mine is cos I used to count from spotting instead of full flow. I'm going to do a digi tomorrow as part of CBFM trial so it should give an indication of how many weeks. I suppose babies can come early or late so it could be two weeks either side of that. It's all so exciting :)

Very exciting! Mine is 3rd march x

    No thanks!! Haha!

Is a little bit of pain normal too? It's like period pain. I am clueless.. Spent so long getting to this point I have no idea what happens afterwards!

Congratulations Becca. I too have been having pains for the last week or so. At first I thought they were AF pains but once AF was late and I tested I realised they were baby pains! Are yours quite sharp? Not sharp like a pin, just one up from the dull ache of an AF pain. (not really sure how to explain it!!) I also notice when I sit at my desk, I feel like my tummy is all push up under my bra even though it isn't. very uncomfortable. Yes I do have abit of a spare tyre there but didn't have the problem before!

I am 5 weeks tomorrow......every day is going so slow!!

I am so pleased for you Becca. I am sure I read your journey has been a long one so HUGE congratulations. :)

I had bleeding and I was scared went to the Early Pregnancy Unit and I was so relieved when I saw my tiny bean. Lots of people reassured me on here and it was great to know I wasn't alone, even people who were much further along.

What was the final trigger to your pregnancy? I am sure all on the TTC and Trying for a baby thread literally jumped off their seats!!

    xx

:jBecca & faithhope CONGRATULATIONS to you both. It's great when anyone gets a BFP but a little extra special when its someone from the ttc thread. Took us 7 years but it can happen. So excited for you both.:j:T:j:T

Becca - I had a bleed at exactly 6wks and all was fine, midwife said it was implantation. Also had quite painful pains like period pains - apparently it's just everything changing. I get the odd day like it still now - ligaments stretching! Yay!

    Back to lurking!
