Hello ladies, can I join? I'm 6+1 at the moment - due 16th Feb. I'm just starting to get some mild nausea & I had a day of eating yesterday - I just couldn't stop!
Has anyone else had problems remembering not to eat certain things? I was happily tucking into a toastie at lunch that had brie in it and then suddenly remembered that I shouldn't be eating it! I blame baby brain :-)0 -
Hi Ladies,
I have no idea how I got through today at work! Yesterday I couldn't keep my eyes open, today exactly the same but no chance for a quick power nap at work! Think I am going to have to take a pillow and alarm clock to keep in my car so I can have a nap at lunch!!!!
No other symptoms yet, constantly checking my knickers for any blood, really want to feel sick (sure I will not be saying that when it happens) as I just do not feel pregnant, though I have gone very very scatty. Forgetting everything lately. Made huge mistake in work - cancelled someone's flights for no reason, lucky enough I got the seats back and all was ok in the end. Major panic though!
Had to take, well actually didn't have to, another pregnancy test tonight, this time, it came up really fast as positive, just to double check I am pregnant - how silly eh?
On a positive note, I am eating lots of fruit and really enjoying it as I never really ate fruit before last week. I do not have many problems with the 'do not eat list' as I don't like most of it anyway! Hubby on nights today so I will mainly be looking at all the lovely baby websites.....because I can!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -

Welcome and congratulations
Presuming that the toastie cooked the brie, it's absolutely fine to eat during pregnancyI have been eating baked camembert throughout and as long as it's cooked through it's safe.

could I join? I'm 4 weeks according to the NHS predictor thing! I'm not sure what everybody means when they say 4+1 etc though could somebody explain?
I'm currently feeling very worried about every little stomach twinge so it's reassuring to see others feel the samealso having big trouble sleeping - woke up at 4 the past few mornings and stayed up! can't stop my mind from whirring.

MrsBunny, I am exactly the same!
No other symptoms yet, constantly checking my knickers for any blood, really want to feel sick (sure I will not be saying that when it happens) as I just do not feel pregnant
Think I'm almost 5 weeks but had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks earlier this year, didn't know I was pregnant until that point so am terrified of the same happening as there are no symptoms yet.0 -
ohh that makes sense, thanks! ah me neither I'm not exactly sure how many weeks, I only found out on Saturday. sort of wish I'd found out a bit later so I had less time to worry about things, before the first scan! x0

A question - is anyone keeping a pregnancy diary? This is my first and I am just looking at them now on amazon, think it would be lovely thing to do (if I have the energy!). Does anyone have any recommendations?Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0

If the first day of your last period was 1st January, and you get a BFP on 28th January, you will be 4+0. 29th Jan - 4+1. 30th Jan 4+2 and so on.
The first number refers to the number of weeks, while the second is the number of days. So someone who is 28+2 is 28 weeks and 2 days pregnant.
Initally, your due date will be calculated from your LMP. At your 12 week dating scan, you will be giving an 'official' due date based on baby's size and that is the date that will be used for the rest of your pregnancy.
