My nausea sounds like its milder than many of yours thankfully, but I have found ginger nuts great for a mid-morning/ mid-afternoon nibble, to keep tummy from rumbling and making me queasy and take the weird taste away. Ginger is supposed to be good for nausea though I'm sure my habit is not too scientific!
I've also enjoyed a few fruit smoothies - good for filling the tummy in a fairly healthy way, easy to drink when you don't feel like eating, though a bit expensive!
best wishes to you all xfran-o0 -
Hello Ladies
May I join the thread? I got my BFP on Wednesday, completely over the moon....hubby has taken a few days for it to sink in. Its a planned pregnancy for baby #1. I think I am about 4+1 but not sure! do you work out your date from the 1st day of your last period? Im so confused!! (doesn't normally take much either but feel proper confused right now!!)
Tummy feels really tight and bloated today. Its been very uncomfortable in work sitting at my desk all day, undoing my top button on my trousers, only forgetting when I stand up!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ah well, heres to the weekend and a nice long sleep in in the morning!:TProud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
I will buy some buscuits tomorrow!! I need something. Just made a Coconut Thai curry and it literally was making me water in the mouth in a bad way.
Thank you
Hello Mrs B - warm welcome - congratulations! I think I am bloated but half of it makes me think maybe my tummy is growing a little.

Thankyou TeamLowe, its very confusing! Going to tell my mum today as I have loads of questions and I need someone else to talk to other than my hubby as he isn't very clued up! Thou he was concerned last night that there were brown marks in the bath, thinking I was bleeding - what he didn't realised that it was the mud that he was covered in when he came home from a footie match that hadn't washed away properly! :rotfl:Men!
Hope everyone has a lovely day, getting to 12 weeks is going to drag!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
I'd recommend visiting Tommys website https://www.tommys.org where you can order free booklets. I have one I ordered first time round which is really useful for advice. All completely free though you can of course leave a donationfran-o0

My nausea has started
I haven't been sick yet but the nausea is horrible! It's woken me up a few times in the night and I'm struggling to brush my teeth without retching.
I've got my booking appointment on the 9th July, I'll be 9 weeks. No ultrasound date yet.0 -
Congratulations Ms Bunny! I think I will be your bump friend! I too get my first positive on Wed! Done another every day since & all positive! I too very excited as this was planned. My husband only now beginning to believe it although he's on a stag weekend this weekend! I've had a nice long lie today! Meeting my Mum for lunch today. Not sure whether to tell her or not. Hubby doesn't want us to tell anyone until 12 week scan but that is SO long away!!
I called Dr yesterday & he get me to call midwife services. That's when it all seemed real!! She said home pregnancy tests are so accurate that I don't need to go to Drs. I have my booking appointment on 15th July then scan on 8th August. Due 20th February 2013!! :j:j
I have been taking folic acid but not Vitamin D. Does everyone here take vitamin D?
Please can I be added to list? :T
This is a great forum! Hope you don't mind me joining!!! :-)
Feeling bloated & sore boobs!! Not feeling sick though but maybe I'm too early on to feel sick yet!?! xxx0 -
My 12wk scan is now rearranged to 18th July based on what they saw at the reassurance scan this week. Am too confused to work out correct EDD...! Think I will book the day off work.
PS welcome newbies and congratulationsfran-o0 -

Delurking to say try some kids flavoured tooth paste. I still, at almost 18 weeks, can't bear mint. I know it's not ideal, but it's better than not brushing at all.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0
