Found the pushchair I want...even though I'm only 7 weeks tomorrow :( :rotfl: I've probably jinxed it knowing my luck.

My old Quattro is 8 years old so I'd need a new car seat anyway plus the back wheels are falling apart. Time to say goodbye to it :( But £150 isn't a bad price at all :D

NM - wow that's a lovely pushchair and fab value for money! I don't want to jinx myself by looking at bits just yet but will be in need if a new pram - mine was bought 16 years ago lol. It's actually still in fab condition but will be treating myself. Excited looking at that one though - I can't wait! :j

Congrats LilyMay! Know what you mean - I still don't feel like I should be allowed on here and I'm 6+1. Wishing you a happy non-eventful 9 months. x

    Hi Ladies

I hope everyone is ok today? I'm not posting much as I am in the very suspicious stage and not wanting to get too excited but have been reading.

Congrats Lilymay! I "recognise" you from the TTC thread :D

Pigpen - hope your scan goes well today

Maire - hope everything is ok for you - sending you hugs and sticky vibes

Big hugs to those feeling sick - I have been lucky so far and only suffered mild nausea around certain smells......

I am 8 weeks today and I have an early scan on Friday and booking appt on Saturday so really looking forward to the end of this week - was off sick yesterday and again today as I'm full of a cold and can't breathe at night so can't sleep  Luckily boss knows and she has been quite understanding that I can't dose myself up with everything and make it into work like I normally would.

Still can't get my head around being pg; really want this scan to confirm it. MIL was talking about going away later this year. I said "how about October" she gave me a funny look and said "but that's when the baby's due" and I said "what baby?"!!!!! That's how much I have convinced myself not to get excited until I have seen a heartbeat!!

Hugs to all in need of them and good luck to those with scan coming up! xx
First baby due October 2013 :j

That pram is gorgeous and seems good value for money. I was looking at the Silver Cross sleepover deluxe but now considering the Graco.

Time to join this thread I guess...eek! I should point out that I'm a male, not a female, but have been getting rather involved in all of the monitoring and the rest as the OH is so keen :rotfl: :o.

She's Type 1 diabetic so we'll need to be very careful with everything, I think she gets more scans, etc due to the risks :(.

In terms of weeks, should I be counting from conception or prior to this?

    This happened this morning:

I just can't warrant spending more than £200 on a pram as you'll never see that money back and the child only uses it for 2 yrs really. Plus my old Graco Quattro was amazing and I loved it. I've heard problems with the wheels snapping but I never had that problem at all. Ok it's a bulky pushchair, but I'm quite a tall person so look stupid with the smaller ones :rotfl:

Dunno what to do with my old one though, whether to take it to the tip, facebook it or charity shop it. hmmmm
