Well that was a quick and happy in-and-out at the GP (she even cheered a little!)! Booked to see the midwife tomorrow morning, how to explain 2 appointments in 2 days?!
My GP didn't ask me about my cycle length and dated me at 5 weeks from LMP but looking at the NHS calculator I'm 4 weeks and EDD is 8th February!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
grrr wrote a long post and the computer lost it
basically:
-i'm neurotic and should stop testing, lost it a little this morning when IC was only as dark as the one on saturday, but i've now convinced myself that it's not going to get any darker cos of the way the dye is on those tests
- this is going to be a hard week for me, my last little bean stopped growing at 5.5 weeks and i'm really scared of it happening again and considering it was a missed mc the lack of pain and bleeding doesn't reassure me
-yay for birdie, very pleased to see you herelooks like you're only five days behind me
-told boss and he was lovely, said he recognises it's an anxious time for me so if i don't feel 100% or need extra check ups he's fine with me taking time off
-thank you to ani for recommending this is my, going to book a scan with them for next sunday 16 June, they have a reassurance package of 4 scans between 6 and 11 weeks for £240 which seems like a great price to me, although considering i'll should be seven weeks when i have the first one i think i'll just have two.Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Will be thinking of you TL - I can also thoroughly recommend this is my, that's where I had my early scan and they were fab. There's nothing I can say to reassure you, and I'm sure you've heard it all already, but sending you best wishes for a very sticky bean and healthy pregnancy, and dodgy hugs too if you like :grouphug: I'm glad your boss is being supportive, take care of yourself xx
ETA: Glad your GP appointment went well Birdie0 -

Amy- thanksdodgy hugs are always welcome lol glad you're feeling better and managed ice cream
scan booked for 10:00 a week on Sunday so now i'm going between dreading it and dreaming of telling my sisters afterwards.
btw- kajungas are so so so sore when i take my bra off! they're big anyway so i think it's just the weight, they were so painful they were throbbing last night at the top. going to have to get a non-underwired bra or one of those bra tops for night time xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

TL sorry about your sore kajungas, mine have never been kajungas even when breastfeeding they only reached a whopping 34C! They were 34B throughout my last pregnancy and don't seem to have changed at all this time around either.
Nice to see you Birdie and very pleased that another long timer has had a long awaited BFP :T I didn't even bother with the GP this time, just booked my booking in appointment for 19th June as last time, he literally said "Have you had a positive HPT?" and advised me to take folic acid
Lippy yes it is worth every penny... just don't do what a friend's DH tried to do and laminate it :rotfl:as it melts the ink
Lilymay I agree re the reassurance scans being expensive for what they are... round here even the 4D scans including some pictures and a DVD of the images tend to only be around £80 so we're quite lucky.0 -
I think we might have an early scan done. OH doesn't actually believe I'm PG (thinks that the 3 HPTs could still be lying!
) so when I said it was possible to have a private scan he was really excited at the prospect of seeing evidence!
He was also a little horrified that when I saw the doctor this morning she didn't do anything to confirm my pregnancy!
Bless him, he's more of a nervous nelly about this than I am.We know a few people who've had MCs sadly so he's being very cautious and admitted today that he doesn't think he'll sleep until the 12 week scan.

Birdie this page might help you decide when/if to have one, i found it useful, especially the percentage chance of healthy pregnancy

DH doesn't really believe it either, i offered to pee on something in front of him but he politely declined lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
