So sorry onlywayisup. I'm really hoping there's a chance your dates are wrong, but either way I'm thinking of you.

Hi everyone I am coming over from the trying for a baby thread :)

I had a + pregnancy test yesterday but the line was quite faint so I was annoying everyone posting pictures of what they thought. I feel really insensative now.....I have done another test today same brand because I felt I needed to test with the same brand and boom it went pink and as dark as the control line with in seconds. (First Response Pregnancy Test.)

I am sorry to read some :( news on the thread. Hugs to all.

    xx

Dunclane - So sorry that it wasn't your time. Don't know what else to say. Be kind to yourselves.

Onlywayisup - So sorry to hear your scan did not go as expected. I hope you have lots of support.

Samtoby - Congrats again. Glad to see you crossing over from the other thread. I am still poas (internet cheapies) everyday and my lines seems to have reached the point where they won't get any darker but I started with a faint line at 13dpo and they have gradually darkened over the last week.

My OH has been like Tigger for the last week, boucing around desperate to tell everyone, today he has told everyone (including his family & friends in Holland) via Facebook so now I am really hoping and praying that everything works out for us.

Hi all, ive been browsing this thread for a couple of days. But wanted to talk to ppl :-)

I found out that I was pregnant last week (not planned and 1st) and im roughly 5 and a half weeks now. I had my drs appt last night and felt underwhelmed. I was only in there 2 mins, she didn't check my sample that I brought it, she didnt give me my edd, she didnt tell me things that I should stay away from other than she asked me if I drank or smoke (which I dont). She then said that I should book in for a midwife appt in 3-4wks. I kinda was expecting more support I think seen as ive never had a child before...

My partner knows and ive told my mom n dad but they dont want me to say anything or talk about it much just incase things go wrong - which I can understand but its making me feel that I cant be excited about it :-(

I know it sounds like a rant but I need to get things off my chest and hear other ppls experiences I suppose!

Hi optimistic-mummy... I'm sure everything will be ok and you will get to see your little one more often!! :o

I also had my booking in yesterday... god everything has changed since last time and it was only 2 years ago!

12 week scan is on 17th July and nothing until then, which is 7 weeks away... were in for a loooooooong wait....

and EDD is 17th Jan 2014.... that doesnt seem that far away though!

Anyone with absolutely NO symptoms at all?? I have NOTHING... can't help but worry a little but this was the same with DD the first time round...

    Gops x

ETA starshinning, we have the same due date (for now) :)

thanks hun and yeah seeing it more is a bonus ... i know what you mean about things changing i had my son 4 and a half years ago and so much has changed since.... i also haven't had any symptoms really apart from my boobs being slightly tender .... im the same so worried that im going to get bad news at the scan ... maybe we should just look at it as we are lucky to not be getting symptoms :)

Well it appears it wasn't to be, my wife saw some blood whilst wiping on Sunday, went to A&E and was told not to worry but booked her in for an early scan yesterday.

It appeared that foetus was only 6mm at nearly 9 weeks. Got to wait for another scan in 10 days but it doesn't seem this was our time.

    so sorry to hear this

I'm afraid that doesn't sound unusual, especially if you have no underlying health conditions. Have a look on the NHS webpage (or ask here) if you need guidance on what to avoid and what to take (folic acid, pregnancy vitamins etc). Everyone is very helpful and happy to listen etc. It should feel more real/exciting as time goes on and you see the midwife etc.

    Hi all

Had my early scan2day and not good news. Baby only measures 6+5 when it shud measure 7+5. 100% sure it couldnt be any less as my DH was away after that and i know when i oved. Also showed no HB which the nurse said at this stage she would more than expect.

Have to wait a week and go back anyway which is rubbish but its just a formality and something they have to do.

Sorry to bring the thread down. Wishing you all the best of luck.xx

oh no :( the miscarrage support thread is great for support xx so sorry you have to wait x
