Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

Flower.. that is really common and happened twice to me.. One at 8 weeks (DD1) and the lost baby was still inside and was what caused the bleeding throughout my pregnancy. DS2 I had so much blood inside they couldn't see what was going on for several weeks but I had a massive bleed at 10 weeks and after that it all settled down. It is strange because you never make plans for 2 babies so to be told you have just 1 but there were 2 is bizarre. I had a blubber the day they told me we had lost 1 and carried on throughout the pregnancy as normal after that.. Just go with it.. look after yourself xx

Thank you for all the lovely words everyone.
I guess I really should move to the next board now, but I still feel a bit nervous about the whole thing!
Need to try and get back to some sort of normality so going to take DS to the park today as he has really missed out a bit while this has all been going on.

Dunclane, a level of 63 is very very very low. Not that it's a problem, it just means your wife is very early on

If everything goes okay I think my 12 week scan will be during the same week as my wedding anniversary which will be nice (hopefully). Handy too as OH is off work.

Thanks Lilymay, she's had another blood test at work today and is up to 188, still low but at least its doubling!

Lots of hugs Flower, what a mixture of emotions you must be going through. So sorry for your loss but I'm pleased the other baby is looking healthy xxx

I think we are finding out what we are having, I felt last time I knew I was having a boy (I did) but as I didn't have a gender scan I still bought mainly neutral then wanted to buy boyish things when he was born. I think I would prefer to know so I can either clear out some boys things or keep them!! Thankfully we have quite a lot still as we kept everything so there's just a couple of bits I will need to buy if everything is ok like carrycot for pushchair and other items I can't remember!!

Although I feel rubbish I don't feel very pregnant! Hurry up scan!

Midwife appointment went well, she's lovely. Heading out for a meal now to celebrate Daddy's birthday so tonight should be enjoyable... will catch up properly later :grouphug:

A little update for me. Midwife came round for 1st visit Friday last week. Hopefully scan comes through soon as 12 weeks is only 9 days away and really want to tell my mom but don't want to do it without a pic.
The bloating, wind & not being able to go, hit me with avengence this week eating lots & lots of fruit and veg now, probably double if not more than I used to. I really hope this is not a sign of things to come.
