Yep - definitely compatible - that's a rebadged 4400 which I use for both TomTom on my XDA and Route 66 on the Lobster.

i've cancelled the online order, and placed an order over the phone for a refurbished unit instead.
partly coz the refurbished ones are cheaper, and partly coz the virgin sales team sent me an email that they were unable to process my payment online. (so no quidco tracking there) so i told them to cancel the one, and placed an order on a refurbished unit.
the virgin team was lovely! excellent CS!0 -
There must be a way for me to buy this without sim at £19.99 and use some software (I cracked my e900 samsung with software I found online) to get this SIM FREE? Anybody know how?0

Got one of these for my other half using the Tribes discount. He loves it and the Radio / TV are a great addition for a phone so cheap. The only thing that lets it down for me is the size. It is alot larger than a standard mobile, and I would find it uncomfortable if it was in my pocket all day. It's a bit of a trade off guess0

do u sleep in your clothes then?0

I have a large mobile (Nokia 3650) and have never had a problem with discomfort arising from it's size.0

Argos are doing the Virgin PAYG SIM for £7.49, looks like the same as the £10 Virgin one. Handy if you've got the phone and no SIM for it. Like me
Store collection only, but you can ring and reserve.

Thanks to OP
mine arrived this morning,
called Virgin and they supplied the Unlock code for Free (As we already had a Virgin sim from a previous phone that had over £30 spent on it, even tho it was 18 months ago and in a different handset  )
Used the tips on getting the application side of it unlocked and all is now open for use, Phone seems good, Radio is superb, TV is OK,
What more could you want
