Ok - today sees more de-cluttering (pile for fleabay, pile for CS, pile for bin), and a trip to Mr T for the food shop.
This will be rounded off with swimming - DS has a lesson while I cruise gently up and down the big pool in my efforts against the chocolate baby. A couple of weeks ago I got ousted from my easy going position at the side to LANES!!!:eek::eek: There were two others with me and they set up a sort of pincer movement. I have NEVER swam so far in 25 minutes - had to take paracetamol that evening as my shoulders were so stiff
Anyway - packed lunch for me and DS then work this afternoon.
Here we gooooooooo!!!
LAGL xx
Ps Poodlegal - passports!! - had forgotten that from my budget - need to send the squiglets off or we'll be going without them! Tempting but somewhat illegal!!;)Debt free on the 28/05/130 -
Morning all!
After all my fixed outgoings I have leftover £93 for the month so food budget is £15 a week for just me.
If anyone can recommend a cheaper budget/meal plan I'm all up for hearing it
Aiming for £100 on eBlah, maybe more as I'm trying to declutter to move!
Not sure about NSD, don't think I've ever gone a day without spending ANYTHING... Work is worst for that as I work in a shopping centre so easy to grab something but I'm determined to save to pay off debt and save rental deposit so packed lunches for me from now on
I'll try for 25 NSD.
I'll be on again after 6pm! Have a nice day everyone!!! XCredit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

Morning all! Happy St David's Day! Glad to see Martin is suitably dressed for the day!
My budgets for the month are as follows:
£200 petrol  I don't know what comuting is going to do to my petrol consumption so this is generous, plus easter weekend I'm off to Pembrokeshire so that's a big extra chunk of driving.
£50 food - higher than necessary, but will include 2 bottle of 4ldi gin to make batch 2 of sloe gin. I see this as preparing for Christmas so I'm OK with that.
Actually wasn't the challenge going to include some kind of Christmas prep? Or did that get dropped?
And then last £200 spends budget - I have a friend's birthday, and prep for next months birthdays, a hair cut (been 6 months for me too Poodlegal!) and a new watch strap. Again hopefully I've been generous . . . but we'll see.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

Good Morning March and Good Morning Contenders!!!
What a gloomy start to the day but I shan't let it dampen my spirits! Looks like everyone has planned right down to the last penny and raring to go!!!
I am packing for a weekend away. I have my train tickets budgeted for and a little spending money ( means 1 lemonade ) on Saturday night!
I have managed - through all my incessant overtime - put away £1100 towards my impending house move and holiday! I am determined NOT to go over what I have set aside.
I shall be writing a little everyday but can't read too much on my phone so don't be upset if I can't highlight your name in pink or blue...;-)
Right - Onwards and Upwards!!!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Well, if things don't sell on ebay, relist, relist, relist.... after 3 months of relisting that hat finally got an offer (well earned 99p
.
If anyone knows what to do with books that won't be taken by amazon, zapper or webuybooks etc. I'm all ear. I think they'll be a case for the charity shop or recycling bin otherwiseCheers

Have you thought about doing a car boot or a table top sale? We do one every 6 months or so to clear out the clutter we can't sell on ebay for whatever reason:)0 -

Will probably look into that. So far I was lucky that eBay has such a vast consumer base that people bought my weird and wonderful things. Don't think that'll happen at a car boot. However, I'll definitely look into that, never know. Think I'm just nervous because I've never done one

You can list books on Green Metropolis, think you get £3 per book sold but not 100% sure... Google it?Credit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526
