    Woo hoo its March:j:j

    Right my budgets are:
    Groceries - £180.00 - £120.00 = £160.00
    Petrol - £120.00
Other - £180.00 (This includes one planned night out, two birthday presents and one mothers day present).

I already have my lunch put together for tomorrow (Good Gretchen lol).

As I've seen how well I have done with e-baying this month I am aiming for more than £100 as car tax and mot both due at the end of the month.

    So gang....let battle commence :T:T

Woo hoo! This is Poodle signing in for March! I'm going with a £215 food budget for 4 of us, fuel £120, spends £250 which includes dog food a haircut (which is a 6 monthly happening:o i'm beginning to look like one of my dogs) and the kids activities. On top of this I have a weekend away, dogs inoculations due and passports to renew which are essential but expensive and are seperately budgeted for. Its because of these i'm hoping to be as frugal as possible this month and NEED to stay well within my budget.
Anyway the suns shining here today and later on i'm off into town with my list to do my first food shop of the month so not a SFD but hopefully will be followed by a spend free weekend. :A

Happy 1st March Debt-Free-Wanabees! Loving the poetry Kat, maybe we should learn that off by heart and repeat it each morning!

So - have finally sorted a plan going forward. After paying the essential DDS for things like mortgage, insurances etc I have £1427 left. This will be split as follows:

    Food £280
    Petrol £150
    School Dinners £56
Emergency Fund £50 (will stop when I have £500)
    Car Tax £18
    Heating Oil £50
    Xmas & BDays £50
    Kids Clubs etc £20
    Holiday £33
    General Spending £120 (£30 a week)

Leaving £600 to pay towards the debts, minimum payments are currently £260. This gets me debt free in 3.5 years. I think this is realistic and I have estimated my wages on the slightly low side as I work flexible hours.

Onwards and upwards! Work this morning so need to get my brekkie, hang the washing out, walk the dog etc.
  • And the saints (I hope!!) went marching in....
    Morning all

Budgets are :- Food £50, went over in feb so Im hoping that what I have already will last a bit longer.
Petrol £150 - I do have 4 training days this months (60 mile round trips) but will get the money back in april.
    Presents £25
Going out £180 - Hope to do it in less but quite a few prearranged outings and it is my birthday:p
Other £20..... ( theres always something I dont think of)

Should only need toner and cottonwool on toiletries front, 15 bottles of shower gel still going :o

Aiming for 25 SFDs and to do whatever I can with Fleabay. Will definitely be doing some bank shifts (finally) and getting some extra cash too:T:T:T

May the force be with you all, and thankyou to NSK for another monthly debt busting challenge xxx

Doing a half day extra shift which will earn me £67 pounds before the tax man. Never worked there before. Must NOT get taxis or use canteens. This tends to happen when I work somewhere new. The slight adrenaline buzz and confusion tries to justify it. Get organised and put a banana in your bag!!:j

    GOOD MORNING MARCH!!!!

Went off to a good start. Had my last fag (:o, I know, still had the odd one but they're ditched now) and cider (was left over in the fridge, no more booze in March) last night after a HM curry.

Cycled in today without my wallet so the 1st should be an NSD.

    Happy Marching!
