I've been a bit busy jumping in in the flylady for today; not doing it precisely, but my version of it. Does mean I haven't even looked in the airing cupboard - YET!
Just having a mug of soup and a sit down before I get stuck in again.
Just thrown 4 balls back into the neighbours garden  I always regret it - within the hour they'll be back in my garden again!
Had a sprinkle of rain but nothing of note. Got a lovely breeze blowing through the whole house though - love a Spring breeze, it really does smell different to other times of the year; later in the season, the air will be scented with the cabbage fields chucking up so I make the most of the times I can air the house sans cabbage
dannahaz - maybe a change in 'pinny' will bring him round ... I've heard Ann Summers do a French Maid outfit:whistle:
Speaking of husbands - would of been my wedding anniversary today, only realised when I was cleaning the toilet (sure there must be something Freudian there  ) . Now, how should I celebrate my freedom :rotfl:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hi all,
:bdaycake: SOMO1 hope you have a good day! Isn't it typical? All that lovely sunshine, and today it's rotten! Wanted to go into Hastings this morning. It's our annual "Jack in the Green" festival, 600 Morris Dancers and the "Jack" who is a six foot dancing tree! Raining hard first thing, so no go.
We also get about 30,000 bikers turning up. There weren't many earlier, but they seem to be coming in now the rains stopped. maybe I'll go down later.
Went to Cornwall last week to The Eden Project. Wonderful place, and sooooo accessible if you are disabled. We decided that I'd have a chair, because of all the walking, and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Stephen now says he'll soon be really thin from pushing me about!:rotfl:
Have a good day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Hello everybody:wave:
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Tried to post 3 times yesterday, site ate each one  (and the 3rd was a copy and paste job:rotfl: ) Then it refused to let me back on again. Definitely felt unwanted
But today's another day. Raining here, but not heavy pouring rain just steady. If it keeps on for a couple more hours it'll really do the garden some good, as it is soaking in, not running off. Just wish I had more plants left to enjoy it. I've lost so much in the past year, admittedly through my own neglect. After my mum died i lost interest (and didn't have time) for the garden. Then it got that neglected look which made me lose interest and motivation. Only really kept the grass down and a bit of weeding. Now I really want to get it back to what it was. Guess only time will do that. Sorry that's really down and I want to be positive and upbeat:D
It's really working well having DH on his early retirement:T I'm enjoying having him around and he's really very useful!! Came home from Church yesterday to him having done all the ironing:D Still feels almost like holiday mode at the moment, so I'll not be applying for a job for him just yet:rotfl: :rotfl:
Just noticed the time, no wonder my stomach is rumbling. Off for some soup and tiger bread. Spotted this in Morrisons (where I shop very infrequently) and remembered people raving about it. Bought one loaf to try, thought it delish so did a special trip back to pick up more for the freezer. DH adores it too, and loved the way it had "scented" the car:rotfl:
Anyway I've rambled far more than intended. ((((((hugs)))))) for the taking, welcome to the newbies who've joined the thread over the past few days, and Happy Birthday to somo1, hope you have a lovely day.

I've done a carboot this morning, rain held off until 11 and by then I'd made £160 - hurray!! Nw suffering from a particularly bad dizzy spell so going to lie down for a bit.
I'm sure I'll be back on form tomorrow, bye for now, hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday!October grocery challenge(started 17/10/07):

It is raining now, should mean I get some peace later - hope the rain keeps up!
But the sh*t keeps coming at us
Our son ran over a rock in the road and his car isn't working as a result. He is uninjured.
His car insurance will be due in August. We will get a quote to repair but feel he will have to give up the car if we have to claim - the excess is high, so will only claim if over £350 and the car is worth a lot more. He has been driving for two years and not made an effort to get PT work. He is at uni and due to finish next summer (2008). He has been a bum for the last year and building up a huge student overdraft (interest free but still scary!). We have tried to help him but he hasn't helped himself.
He left home in mid March and living in pretty basic conditions but his hours were stressing us and keeping us awake and he chose to leave home rather than keep to social hours.
On top of all the cr*p we are having to deal with and trying to find a house to live in in 4 weeks, something has to give.
I feel I am heading for a breakdown!An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -

Your son is a grown-up, and has made his choice. It's unfortunate about his accident, but it was his accident and his insurance, and he's made no effort to get a PT job to help himself.
We always worry about our kids, but you can't take it on as your worry. He has to learn to manage for himself, and you have enough other things to worry about. So don't stress about it, let him get on with it.
I don't mean to sound hard, but really, you have enough of your own direct issues to handle right now. <hug>0 -
OOHHHHHH!
Just had call from delivery driver - should be here in 15 minutes!!
