I love wearing my pjs too, I kid myself they look like a leisure suit - but DH disagrees
I have been know to still have them on dishing up tea when he gets in from work (during half-term, I dont actually go further than the garden in them, honest;) ). I know "the flylady" says about being dressed to shoes but I'd rather have my scruffs on, work up a sweat with all the house-work and then have a shower and get dressed.
Flying in your jimmy jammers is the best:T0 -
Crikey that's a long time Nicki, hope it's going ok.
We gave up at 4.30  She's been bathed, fed and is just about to go to bed. If she's this bad now in year 1, I dread to think how she's going to be when she gets to year 10/11 and has GCSE's etc to deal with :eek::eek:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Crossing everything off my (short) list
[STRIKE]Bathroom to clean -missed this week.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Paperwork to sort out and file.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Plans for the week ahead. Meals, birthdays, appointments etc[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Windows in and out. About time..[/STRIKE]
There now.Job's a good 'un. Oh! and I found and sewed a button on my fave cardi, been bugging me for weeks. Exciting huh?!
grannynise well done you too. Saturday pyjama club is a rare treat, in fact a whole weekend to myself is too. I look forward to the next one though!
That's how I view it Shell, I figure I'm only going to need to get cleaned up again after doing stuff and Flylady's 'getting dressed to your shoes' doesn't specify WHAT you should be dressed in :rotfl:
I'm at a bit of a loss now, once I've made my tea I'll have to go looking for jobs to do. Unless tomorrows list goes up before the site goes down at 10 or anyone wants to delegate me a job?

I only found out about the exhibition about 4.30 so there wasn't time to go, shame really as I would have liked to have gone.
What a shame, perhaps we could have met up and chatted about our fly lady exploits!
Hope you are having a lovely Mother's Day Becca.
Nicky- you have my sympathy completely with the homework issue. DS was and sometimes still is a nightmare. We worked our way through it by saying if you can concentrate on playing a computer game then you can concentrate on homework and so computer time gets withdrawn if he doesn't sit down and do it properly.
lil_me-hope you get all that paint off. Must have been an awful discovery this morning.
Went shopping today and realised that although I have meal planned for the week I didn't sort anything for today so we had a bit of a slobby tea with vegetarian burgers and curly fries!
DH and 2 friends bagged up 25 rubble sacks full of gravel today and we drove them round to us in 3 journeys. They want top soil which we'll be getting rid of and in exchange we're having the gravel. Got the same amount again to bag up and get home.
Washed out the fridge today and am just about to start the ironing. DH has washed up and so the drying up is waiting to be done.
One of the cats has thrown up over our bedroom rug so that's in the WM right now.
So I'm going to crack on and do as much as I can until 9pm when I'll be sitting down for Dalziel and Pascoe.
Have a good evening....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
