Good luck today michelle, first job post baby is a huge step, but one that kept me sane after Owen was born. I reckon you'll have a great time. It's so nice to start spending time with adults again, they can speak and everything! :rotfl:
Hope the pup's feeling a bit brighter today lil_me, they do like to worry us, don't they?
Shirleypark, I like picnic brealfasts too! It's possible that they're more for my benefit than his. This morning, we had strawberries, raisins, apple slices, a sliced nutrigrain bar and cheese chunks. Delicious and nutricious
.
DH has just tried to vacuum the house, but now, the brand new vax is making a nasty burnt rubber smell. Not a good sign. The last one did exactly the same thing, I'm starting to think we're jinxed.
Today we will;
[STRIKE]S and S bathroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]S and S kitchen[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]S and S sitting room[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put washing on[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make beds[/STRIKE]
If the vax cools and smells better, we'll try vacuuming again. Oh poo.
Good luck to all flyers and again to michelle. Have a good day and enjoy yourselves. x0 -
Good morning everyone,
A slow start to my day - im still in my pjs, but i have put the WM going!!!
Have just made us all a nice hot chocolate, while i veg out here, in front of Saturday kitchen. Am hoping to do some cooking later, sort out my paperwork pile and i may hoover round the whole house later - but at the mo - im doing nothing!!!!
Have a great day everyone (hope all goes well today Michelle!!!)
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
please excuse me for being a bit dim, i am full of a cold and a chesty cough, my fluttering routines are going down the pan 'cause with a toddler about i am getting tired out. with this new level thing, do we disregard the original FL thing of of set days for tasks and home blessing hour? If so i'll print it off and have a go!
happy flying

morning all!
Michelle - can ya slow down you are making me dizzy!!!!! Hat's off to you though - bl**dy well done!
jjef - well done on the bronze! my little class are doing so well - even the terrified GSD youngster who is panic stricken about most things, poor girl - we are bringing her round slowly. Hopefully they will all pass but we shall see - fingers crossed !! My youngster was so good last night - I get some hall time in return for teaching - did some really good stuff which really cheered me up - he is in the middle of adolescence and it is hard for him to keep his brain cell in his head for long before it migrates- he is almost too clever!
lil_me - benalyn for dry coughs - always keep some handy. Doesnt cure it of course but it eases the symptoms. The vacc might not help - dont want to be a damp sponge but there are so many variants of KCough and it doesnt prevent all of them anyway
WEel I have tidied bedroom and made bed - S&S'd bathrooms and kitchen - cleared up outside - started again on my desk ( the new web page went live last night so thats out the way too) been to the PO and done an ad for OH's car on the puter which he toddled round to the newsagents etc.
More tidying and then the vacc'ing before the viewing ...
Have fun peeps!!0 -
Jo, we don't do it the same as the flylady site does, well some do, you're more than welcoe to join us if you think it'll help, just don't wear yourself out. A new thread will start from Sunday evening for next Monday, it does change slightly each week. Hope you are feeling better soon.
boston, yes I know about the cough medicine, she hates it :rotfl: what a mess we both get in, I end up with a sticky puppy. Also with the type which the vacinne doesn't cover, my other dog has been vaccinated last year and hasn't caught it, so I am hoping it is one of the 2 types that it does cover

Riversidejo, welcome. Support is what you'll get from the lovely lot on here. And top tips. And a laugh. And the freedom for a good no-repercussions moan. Oh, and your house'll shape up in a matter of weeks into the bargain! Just take it easy at first.
I'm still in my 'jamas (just in case I need a little lie down you understand) but I spent 15 mins making the kitchen respectable. 5 mins tidying the bedroom. 10 mins in the livingroom. I wasn't paying attention when I loaded the BM so I may have glue, bread or a brick. Does the flour really make a difference Lil_me?
Stuff to do today.
Charity shop stuff to deliver
Prescription to fetch
More blummin cat food shopping
Ironing
Bathroom to clean -missed this week.
Make something lovely. I fancy muffins.
Paperwork to sort out and file.
Not a big list compared to some and none of it pressing.

Solwaykid if the flours out of date I have found it can, mines got June 07 on the date, have used it once was fine, then I put it in the cupboard & started using another one, then this time it was just a lump. Just going to see how this one goes with the new flour. If not might be something else. One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Shirley you are right, I just need to get my act together.
Was woken up this morning at 5.45 by my DD saying she had been sick in her bed _pale_ th epoor mite was more upset at being sick in bed than being sick itself.
Brought her into our bed and put the bucket next to her, she has kept retching till it hurtsmanaged to get her to drop off to slep for a while. Now off to amuse DS, not a lo is going to get done round here today.
lil_me not sure how you give your pup his meds but have you tried a medicine syringe? We used them for calpol when the kids were tiny, really kept the mess down.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
