:rotfl: I know. He does make me laugh. It's not even like i expected that much, perhaps just emptying the WM as it was his stuff, and putting last nights washing up away, or even rinsing the bowl and spoon he used to feed charlie with at lunch time. :rotfl: but he literally sat on his bum all day, watching the grand prix and letting charlie eat his shoes by the sound of it (not the pair he was wearing - pairs he found on the shelf under the coffee table.
MEN!!!!
Although i do not what he means. Charlie was awake at 6.
Anyway - i'm off now as my wrist is killing. Hope it's not my RSI playing up or i will struggle.

Hello! Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend. Didn't have time to post last night, MIL took baby for a walk for an hour in the afternoon so I really cracked on and DH came home early so we fetched the furniture to get that job out of the way. Got home, table in no probs, unpacking huge (and v expensive mirror) and it was broken_pale_ felt sick! Rang the shop and went back and chap said he'd done it putting it in my 4x4. Thank g*d it was him and not us, he replaced it free of charge so I brought all my lamps from him. Finally got mirror in place today after fetching fixtings as it so heavy and its a new house so walls are about 1mm thick! Looks FAB and looking forward to sleeping there tonight. Only thing is we have a viewer tomorrow, I don't want to move! So will see how things go, am meeting new house people on Mon so hopefully can get our money back. Chilled out with a takeaway and flim (and wine lol!) last night.
Have had a really lovely day today, inlaws are on holiday next week and wanted to see DS so they offered to babysit whilst we went out. Dh took me for lunch (yummy tapas and a nice glass of wine) and then did shopping I needed, nappies and such. DH is away next week so its been nice to spend time together, think thats been my 'me time'. It sounds awful but it was so nice to have 5 minutes to myself and to be able to eat without thinking of someone else all the time. Then SIL and partner came round tonight for a couple of hours so had a really good day, baby had not had enough sleep so got very grumpy and ended up putting him to bed early, not heard a peep from him but dread what time he'll wake in the morning. Only thing is DH has ran into the open garage door and spilt his head open:eek: Good thing I'm not squeamish, clean him up, he won't go to hospital (men!) and is now snoozing on sofa with me poking him every 10 mins to check hes okay. Supposed to be taking my cousin swimming tomorrow but he can't go with his head like that.
Lil_me Hope the pups better

Going up to sort his clothes out in a mo.
Will hopefully be getting an early night as need to be up early to get him ready, ah best sort out his packed lunch before I go to bed. Not used to going out early on a Sunday so it's got to be well planned or I'll be in a flapI'll be staying with him at first at least to make sure he settles ok. Cha9Michelle, Thank you for asking. My mother is in her own home now, and recovering slowly. It's not going as quick as she would like, but it looks like she'll be okay.
Today is mother's day here in Holland, so this afternoon we'll be off to visit MIL. Means I'd better get cracking on the washing if I want to get that all finished today! Ironing is a Sunday night job...

Morning everyone - hope all upsets and alarums are settling down and that the huge problems of yesterday have shrunk to smaller proportions at least.
As for me, had a sleep in
Done beakfast adn cleared away..
S&S'd kitchen and bathrooms, fixed the DW ( with OH's help) and given it a whirl with white vinegar and reloaded.
Done my "wrigglies" ( I breed mealworms for my now tame robin family - at £3 for 100gm its much cheaper - they only eat bran, a crust of bread occasionally and banana skins !) Is worth it to have them tame enough to eat from your hand - and they come tell me if I am late with them!
Now starting on some listing for Amazon while OH cleans out the blocked gutter after all that rain!! Rather him than me.
Dogs mooching - Dizzie still has very slight limp but can stand on it no problem to have a pee so it can't be too bad
question for you knowledgable lot please - what is stardrops and why is it so good? what do folks use it for? Is it "green?"
boston - singing along to Sunday Love songs while she works0
