now 4:30, i've managed a bit of a go at upstairs but Charlie is giving me some grief with his teeth, and we have also missed having the longer nap, which i could really have done with. Well i may as well keep him awake now until bed time but the grumps are hard to get on with0 -
lil_me perhaps you could sell that nutritious recipe to jamie oliver for his school dinners.....seems similar to what my son claims he has for dinner at school anywaySave 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000

Well I am shattered. Decided to sort out all the photos on the computer. Apart from the laundry nothing really needs doing today so I'm taking it easy, besides 6 loads of laundry (3 of which have to wait until other 2 are in) should keep me busy.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Lol wilf and lil_me! It must be one of those days.
Baby and DH are both asleep, so I'm just catching up while I can. I got six hours sleep last night :j !!! DH left Freya and I snoozing again while he took Owen to playschool, that's why I've sent him for a nap now. If anyone deserves it, it's him. He is now totally forgiven for the infamous bath foam incident!
Sadly, that means that I missed my picnic breakfast with Owen, but I think I'll jump in the bath with him tonight instead (he always has liked a bit of company in the tub!).
I've tidied Owen's room and will change the bedclothes in a bit, but for the second week running, I'll ignore the deep clean. Naughty Mara. Not that Owen minds, the dust means that he has somewhere to practice his writing without having to search for paper and pen :rotfl: .
Today I will:
[STRIKE]S and S bathroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]S and S kitchen[/STRIKE] DH did this one
[STRIKE]S and S sitting room[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy my bedroom[/STRIKE]
Vacuum throughout
[STRIKE]Put washing on[/STRIKE]
I think that'll do it. We're still clutter-free, but the dust is building (DH doesn't like vacuuming as much as I do and my muscles are still too weak to do it). Good luck and lots of hugs to all. Wish you could meet my baby, she's lovely. Take care, Mara x0 -
:hello: Afternoon
doing better today but just in a catch up sort of way.
About to swish and swipe and wipe family room/study.
Bedrooms are a bit out of bounds as DH is hooving the loft - I kid you not. 80 years of dirt up there, he has hired an industrial hoover! Hence I can't get to 2 of the doors. DS2 room I only did Monday so hope to get to Master later or if not tomorrow.
It started to rain here just as I took my first bite of a sarnie:mad: dashed out got it all in and now it is glorious again so will pop some back out.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Afternoon:D
Well had children arrive at 7am this morning:eek: so had to be up early and get ready, why do I say yes!!
Been to childminding group this morning but!! before I went made sure the kitchen was clean, towels in wash and clothes horse loaded from overnight wash (don't trust this weather).

Hoovered after lunch so not to crunch cheese on toast throughout the whole house hummmph that's it for today I'm off out tonight for rare change:beer: so need to get ready early as not used to going out!
xMit costs nothing to smile:D0 -
