    Hello everyone

I'm new, just wanted to say hello. I've found one excuse after another not to follow this list, but I have decided at least to try! Even if I only managed one or two things from the list, that will be worth it.

Big, big thank you to lil_me, the graduated list is fantastic for beginners like me. Yesterday I managed to clean the upstairs bathroom and I also cleared and decluttered the spare room which was looking like a disaster. If I hadn't sat down with my book for a 'quick' rest I would have done both bathrooms and the study but there you go!

Today I will endeavour to change the beds, vacuum and wipe off sticky marks. I've never done a 'Fling' before but I reckon I could give it a go!

    Morning all.

Just having a cuppa and scoffed a banana muffin, to give me energy you understand(!) and then I'm going to get going.

    My list is

    Clean bath
    Hoover bathroom floor and wash
Hoover kitchen and dining room and hallway and stairs
Load WM so it's ready to go when DS gets in from school and I chuck his unifrom in
    Weed front garden
    Tidy up back garden
    Clean DS room
    Clean spare room

It's sunny here at the mo so I'm going to do the outside jobs first.
Just waiting for someone to come and collect my car to take it away and service it. They were recommended by a friend and anything I can get someone else to do for me is a bonus, so I don't have to find the time to get to and from the garage.

Had a quick look at the reduced rail in a charity shop on the way home and now have a lovely dress and pair of shorts to take on hols for the grand total of £1.50.

Hope the sun is shining where you are.

    Morning all

Stripped and remade DD's bed. I've put it out on the line but I'm watching the sky like a hawk!

Made up bed in spare room - my son is coming home today. Haven't seen him since Christmas.

We're going away tomorrow for a week so I've also packed clothes for me and DH, packed bedding and towels, lined up boxes of other stuff along the landing (that was previously in spare room). Whatever I've forgotten now we'll either have to buy or manage without.

    S & S'd the kitchen.

vacuumed living room, hall and kitchen.

DD will be at home, she's looking after the pets, so I have to write a list of stuff she has to remember. She hates staying here alone, it's a bit spooky.

Another sky watcher, DS1s bed was done yesterday so just the one to do.

Pollybear hope you both have a nice time

Nicki this years Eurovision song is cheesey but I will have to watch it :o mainly because I used to work with David who is in Scooch.

Rough morning as a kid told DS1 swimming was cancelled so he ran off from school. It wasn't cancelled, other kid was wrong, or trying to wind him up! Didn't get there for the 8.10am session as he was too sleepy after being awake most of last night. Pleased actually as I was the only one who seen him leg it, if he'd been on the yard and I wasn't there god knows where he would have ended up as noone else seen him go. By the time I got him back there they were frantically looking for him, making me think maybe SEN school will be better as this isn't the first time.

Anyway, boys rooms almost done apart from vacuuming as DP asleep, so here goes the rest of the day

[STRIKE]Farm shop- also take sons application for fishing club :)
    Opticians order DS1s glasses
Clear more cupboards and resort :( still no sign of BM measures [/STRIKE]Call kennels, see if I can get dogs booked in, keep forgetting  forgot again
    [STRIKE]Meal plans and shopping list
Make wholemeal loaf with improvised measures[/STRIKE]
    More assingment work
    [STRIKE]Call about gas service
Living room vacuum and tidy [/STRIKE]
    Kitchen tidy (after cupboard sort)
    [STRIKE]Back hall vacuum
2 more loads washing (where I will get it dry if it rains again I don't know) [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Chase up ebay item been waiting 3 weeks for [/STRIKE]
Pack and post sold ebay item :o oops
[STRIKE]Rest of dailies inc meals, S&S bathroom, washing up etc[/STRIKE]
One day I might be more organised...........

wilf - I knew I'd have a hot flush making two beds :D
  • Morning all. Not feeling great so decided i didn't fancy walking a mile to play group with DS3 and back again then to pick him up again:o so decided he could stay here. Not sur if it was the right decision but i have managed to get kids bedrooms done, so its just S&S all over rest of rooms now for me.
Shell2001 my youngest 2 are the same, sometimes cant even be in same room without screaming at each other, so i sympathize! I dont mind noise from play (I make as much as anyone!) but the unnecessary screaming drives me

    List then.

Finally Friday Kids Room Blitz (or spare rooms)

    Level One
[STRIKE]Put anything back in it's place that isn't where it should be[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Strip beds, vacuum mattress and replace with fresh linen[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust, make sure you get the tops of wardrobes/drawers
Vacuum Floor (even if it's just where you can see)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors[/STRIKE]
    Declutter Mission Task
Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, aim for 27, if you can't find that many, well done, you are obviously making a difference

For those with kids or wear uniforms for work, try to get them in the wash tonight, mkes the weekend easier. Apart from the dailies and night time routines that's the lot for the week, of course if you still want to join us over the weekend you are more than welcome

FRIDAY EXTRA - Make sure you give yourself some ME time this weekend, even if it's just a nice relaxing bath or catching up with an old friend, go on you deserve it
    Going out tomorrow yay!
Its poring here so i've got washing drapped all over. Hate it coz it makes house look untidy. i'm off now to find 27 items for e-bay. bye for now!
    Nothing to declare ;)
