Hello all,
We've achieved the grand total of diddly squit today I'm afraid!
I don't mind in the slightest though. DH and I had two naps and I managed to sneak a picnic breakfast with Owen. We'll be sharing some juicy strawberries for our supper too. I think he's missing his usual amount of mummy-only attention, so I'm trying to find little rituals that we can complete together every day.
Well done to all of those who've been flying high, I wish my house looked the way it usually does, but having a happy family is more important.
Hugs to all, here's to domestic bliss. x0 -
i've managed to run the hoover round the living room, bath the baby, and stick a load on in the washing machine. More stuff Charlie has been sick on. I think pigpen may be right and it may also be a bit of something, so he has had some calpol and a mummy cuddle, but is now back on the floor because my leg was soaked from the drool.
lbnblbnb - agree i would have been mad to have done marking with a 7 week old baby, but i think i can probably manage the ten a day i need to do over the next few weeks, plus they are here a day earlier than expected to start sorting out. That isn't particularly what is stressing me as i knew that were coming, more my sister expecting me to help with wedding stuff, and having to visit my aunty in hospital still.
shell - can i have one of those cookies please.
oh- best go as he i:rolleyes: s tired and trying to hit himself in the face with a toy. ow0 -
Right under an hour to go at work, so I thought I'd work out what I still need to do when I get home
Yes I have lost some weight, whoever it was that ask. Not a lot, but atleast it's a step in the right direction. I wore the newly rediscovered skirt to work today and everyone has been commenting on the fact I have a skirt on like they've never seen me in one before !!

Lists up ladies, there is a FRIDAY EXTRA there, even if you don't get anything else done, make sure you do that, this ones a must do
I did vacuum, took the hint I think, but did turn the TV up while I was doing it so he could hear it as he was laid on the sofa!
As for making his own dinner, he doesn't even know how to work the oven, if I'd said make your own what I ha planned would have been wasted as he wouldn't have known where to start. I make all his meals, even if it's a sandwich, silly I know, not his Mother's doing him being unable, as she was rarely there, but even worse, Grandmother! They spoil them even more.
Right time for swimming, best dash, TTFNOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
lil-me. the Friday extra looks good. I have plans to have night out on Saturday with my best bud, not feeling up to it at the mo, but hopefully will by Saturday. Don't often go out so should be a good night.

Need to find some things to go on e-bay tonight. last weeks sold well. so i've got the motivation to carry on.
I have noticed a few of you sell on amazon. Is that easy to set up? I have loads of books to sell, usually just take them to charaty shop when i'm done!Nothing to declare

Best thing is to go to the Amazon thread
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=396472&page=1 Full details there but be careful if you got best sellers - they tend to go for very small amounts on Amazon and unless you are careful re postage and fees you can make a loss!! There is always eBay - and Green Metropolis (known as GM) if you arent in a hurry
http://www.greenmetropolis.com
That is easy peasy. If your books are in as new condition and fairly recent then you could also look at play.com
Hope that helps!!!
OH nearly home, all chores done so am off for a bit now!!!0 -
Excellent - pamper task. I'm sure there is more than me ready for it. Big thanks lil-me. Hopefully you will manage this too so you can be less shattered and stressed.
I'm in shock. Dh was in at 5:45, he took Charlie straight away so i could sort dinner, he then put him to bed, put the rice on for dinner, and is about to plate it up.
Obviously being a tearful wreck had some impact. It won't last, but i'll take advantage while it is there.
It's lovely to be almost finished for the night instead of just about to start dinner.
Enjoy your night - i'm going to have a bath, and then watch house i think, although i do need to have another look at my marking stuff as i don't want to leave it all till tomorrow.

I love House, never saw Hugh Laurie as the fanciable type, but in this he's very different. Am I alone in this I wonder? :rotfl:...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
