OKay then new to flying!!
Been following you all this week and trying to follow along (will start next week list ticking hehe)
Very surprised at how much I do when I always feel like nothing gets done. I'm a childminder so tend to have mad dash in morning, over lunch when little ones sleeping (tends to be 1-3, did under my sink today:T , did bathroom yesturday), but as I do shifts get a bit of free time to study (why!! NVQ3)
With dh, 2 children (5, 2) two cats and a dog (small) it is endless, but feel already that I will get it sorted following you guys:o
xMit costs nothing to smile:D0 -
managed to do bathroom then did downstairs hoovering, mopping, then sat on sofa to read mail fell asleep while reading it woke up just in time for school run:eek: got 2 loads of washing done, made beef curry and scones.and thats it dont know where my energy has disapeared to but id better find it soon.
just need to do kids lunch boxes and get a few things ready for tomorrow have a friend visiting for the day so probably wont get much done tomorrow.0 -
OK, I've had my bath.
I've just emptied the WM (will hang stuff up when we go to bed), brought the towels downstairs to get washed this evening, and i'm just sorting out my list for tomorrow.
Will take the hoover up tonight too so i'm ready to go in the morning.
I'm going to spend half an hour now doing more marking, and then will stop to enjoy house and shark. It's a funny type of sexy - more of an intellectual admiration i think, tinselfairy.
torianut hope your DS is better tomorrow so you have a bit more flexibility and a less grumpy baby. I'm just hoping for less sickiness tomorrow as it's hard to keep up with the washing, particularly when they are eating interesting things.
Anyway, list now, and i don't think i will achieve more than half of it, but it helps me to see what hasn't been done, and what i don't do can be DH's list for Saturday!!

So not everything - and not always on the day it's listed - but a lot more than I would have done pre Flylady. My DD says have I noticed that I talk about cleaning all the time? Maybe I'm becoming a bit obsessive  or maybe it's just SUCH a change that she can't believe it.
Have even made a cake this week, and I don't make cakes.
Well done li'l_me for keeping going this week. I frequently chair reviews and I know what a strain it is for parents. Sounds as if you had a positive outcome. I've invented a meal called forage for my DH. Basically it's just what it says ... look in the cupboard/fridge/freezer and eat whatever you can find. If you just offer that and no other options your OH will manage. They never starve.Mind you, sometimes the food you had planned for the next night's dinner disappears.

FRIDAY EXTRA - Make sure you give yourself some ME time this weekend, even if it's just a nice relaxing bath or catching up with an old friend, go on you deserve it0 -
Had a quick swipe of bathroom today but not a great clean.
Havent done any of the hoovering tasks this week as my hoover (a dyson from when they first came out) was blowing out more dirt than it sucked in! Was really tempted to buy a new hoover as i am so fed up with having everyones cast-offs but decided that buying a house was more important even if we would have to have laminate flooring throughout :rotfl:. So I took it apart this evening and cleaned it and changed the filters. AND it works, its even quite hard to push now because it actually sucks!! So thats about £70 for the old mortgage fund i think. No excuses for not hoovering tomorrow though i guess!
DOH has day off tomorrow to revise and asked if there was anything i wanted done during his breaks. So i have instructed him to do his side of the bedroom but am expecting World of Warcraft to win out!Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -
Hello to all of you.
I have not done any flying again. Been at school on and off al day for PTA stuff.
Last night though I did tidy/wipe the kitchen before going to bed - before this thread I would have left it but I knew that 15 minutes would mean so much to me this morning.
Congratulations to all of you. I have taken part in many, many threads on this forum, some short some long and 'met' some great people but you lot beat them all. I have never heard one of you say a mean thing to another poster, you all thank so many posts and are so supportive of each other, it is a pleasure to pop in.
Need to count the PTA coins now ready for banking.
Thus with kids go give them an extra goodnight kiss, we are lucky they are safe in our homes with us.
Might pop back later but if not I promise I will fly a little tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Croaky hello from me,
I haven't done any flying at all today. Spots on the tonsils and someone's hyjacked my hormones - all that girly company at the weekend no doubt.
I hope I'm more chirpy tomorrow, I had really good intentions this week but I've been falling out with myself.
I've booked a half day off tomorrow though for no other reason than just 'cos. So I'll drop in for a proper chat.
